Vinnie didn't like it when things didn't go his way. All three attractive women got up and did the smart thing by scurrying out of the room.

Vinnie rose up from the comfort of his sofa, his anger boiling over. He gripped Aries by the front of his shirt with such force that he lifted his body off the ground. "What in the fuck did you just say? I want you to repeat that. I swear if you're lyin', I'll..." Vinnie trailed off, not getting the opportunity to finish his sentence since Aries interrupted him. 

"I swear on my life, boss, it's true. Dmitri's no longer with us. A priest put him out of commission," Aries declared with a shaky voice.

"Tell me the name of the fucker who did this to my baby brother! I need to know right fuckin now!" Vinnie demanded to know while shaking Aries around in his hand. Tears welled up in his eyes as his entire body shook from the pure rage bubbling up inside of him, just begging to be released.

"It was that damn Lucian that everybody keeps raving about; he's the one who killed Dmitri in cold blood," Aries revealed.

Once Aries gave Vinnie the answer he wanted to know, he released the grip of his shirt before punching a hole in the wall smack next to where Aries was standing. 

Aries winced before doing the wisest thing possible by taking one hundred steps back, while Vinnie had a complete meltdown since he had finally reached his breaking point.

"Fuuuuck!" Vinnie screamed at the top of his lungs as he swept his hand across a small coffee table next to a couch, sending off all the glasses and hors d'oeuvres resting on top of it crashing down. 

Some glasses were knocked to the floor and shattered upon impact, while others landed on the couch, spilling and staining their contents all over the fabric. The food that flew off the platter made a mess of the nice, clean floor and couch.

Vinnie held his head in both of his hands while he broke down before letting out a scream like that of a wild animal from his lungs. 

"Don't you worry, boss, we'll make 'em' pay for what they've done and teach em' a lesson they'll never forget. We're not gonna let em' get away with this just you watch. They'll learn firsthand that when you fuck with one of us, you fuck with all of his," Aries reassured Vinnie, trying his best to get his boss to calm down a little. 

But despite Aries's efforts, his words didn't seem to have much of an effect on Vinnie at all.

Vinnie continued to thrash the room he was in every way he possibly could. In a craze, he made his way over to his bed, which would serve as the next casualty he would take all of his frustration out on. 

Vinnie began tearing off the sheets and throwing them wherever he saw fit, not caring in the slightest where they ended up landing. He tore apart one of the pillows by slashing his claw into it, sending feathers all over the place. 

Vinnie unknowingly threw the other pillow in Aries's direction. It slammed into the wall above Aries's head since he had ducked just in the nick of time before it had a chance to smack him right in the face.

Vinnie's next victim was a nightstand next to his bed, with an alarm clock on top of it. Unfortunately, both happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Aries moved to a different place in the room but still managed to be in the line of Vinnie's path of destruction.

Vinnie hurled the alarm clock with all his might. With Aries's lightning-fast reflexes, he contorted his body to the side, managing to dodge the alarm clock; otherwise, it would have dealt some damage. Instead, it taught the wall near him a lesson, which instantly broke once it slammed against it.

Aries watched as Vinnie picked up the nightstand next before sending it crashing through a window, shattering it instantly upon impact. Shards of glass flew everywhere, causing Aries to clutch his head, freaking out over the destruction Vinnie was causing and showing no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Once Vinnie had nothing left to pick up and throw near him, he wandered over to his personal bookshelf, which would be his next target since he needed more throwing ammo.

Vinne began picking up each book one by one before hurling them everywhere, causing even more havoc than there already was, leading to even more windows being broken in the process. Vinnie began to tear the pages straight out from the remaining books on the shelf before throwing them around like confetti to join the rest of the books in a sea of chaos.

Once Vinnie let it all out, his chest heaved heavily in and out, appearing to be worn out from demolishing everything within close range. If he had his way, he would have sent Aries flying out the window, too, along with everything else.

"Take me to him," Vinnie demanded while hanging his head low in a voice not much louder than a whisper.

Uncertain of what exactly Vinnie was getting at, Aries hesitantly asked while his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, trying his best not to provoke Vinnie any more than he already was. "Uh, what was that? I'm not sure what you mean."

"I want you to take me to the exact spot where Dmitri was killed, you fuckin idiot! How many times are ya gonna make me repeat myself, damn it?" Vinnie yelled out in irritation.

"You've got it, boss. Anything you say, I'll go get the limo ready," Aries hastily replied in a rush to do whatever Vinnie wanted if it meant he would settle down. The last thing Aries wanted was to piss off Vinnie any further than he already was, especially after seeing the room left in shambles.

Once the limo was ready for a drive, Aries raced ahead to open the passenger door so Vinnie could hop inside, trying to cheer up his boss in any small way he could. Vinnie didn't have to say a single word since the solemn expression on his face did all the talking for him. After Aries shut Vinnie's door, he hopped into the driver's side and drove off.

Vinnie tapped his fingers impatiently against the car window as the carnival soon came into view. Before Aries could have a chance to stop the vehicle and park, Vinnie snapped off his seat belt. While the limo was still running, he flung open his door before bolting out, not giving Aries much chance to react.

"Boss, wait up!" Aries called out after Vinnie, urging him not to run off without him, but Vinnie kept going, ignoring every word Aries had just said. The only thing that Vinnie wanted to see at that moment, more than anything, was his little brother Dmitri.

Vinnie took in a large gulp of air as he closed his eyes to pick up on Dmitri's scent. His eyes burst open as soon as he located it and went in the direction it was wafting from, following it like a bloodhound. In no time at all, Vinnie recognized his brother's torn-up sapphire and lavender jacket lying in a heap on the ground.

Vinnie could have identified that jacket from anywhere since it was Dmitri's favorite. He wore it all the time and never took it off because it was a gift from Vinnie that he was very possessive of.

Vinnie rushed over without wasting a second. Pure rage flooded his veins when he noticed broken pieces of stone that belonged to the statue that Dmitri had now become. Something that all vampires turned into once they met their cruel fate.

"Dmitri, you fuckin' idiot, you never listen to your big brother. I told ya like a gazillion times not to take on that Lucian guy all by yourself because it's too risky. I warned ya, didn't I, that you're not strong enough to handle someone like that on your own and just look at what happened. I was right like I always am, and you paid the price," Vinnie scolded Dmitri in the afterlife.

Vinnie picked up Dmitri's jacket with shaky hands before burying his face into it and screaming in anger and frustration.

"Don't worry, Dmitri, I'm gonna avenge you. I'm gonna make em' all pay for what they did to you. Lucian, ya better watch your fuckin back. You chose the wrong guy to fuck with because I'm not gonna stop until I take every single last thing from you that matters the most to your heart; I'm comin' for ya. If it's a war you want, then it's a war you'll get," Vinnie ominously threatened.

Vinnie's ears perked up when he heard frantic footsteps racing behind him before Aries called out in a voice filled with worry, "Boss, are you alright? You shouldn't have jumped out of the limo like that."

"Aries, I need ya to send a message; I want you to send them out. That's an order," Vinnie commanded.
