Chapter 4: confession

The figure calls itself Min, the embodiment of destruction itself. Min describes the day, which Benji remembers vividly. Min laughs at the memory, not fully remembering the day himself. For him it was an average day, like when you walk and unknowingly destroying an ant nest under your feet. “ Why.” Benji says his voice cracked. “ I was bored” Min responds bluntly. Bored? Benji thinks, bored.

Benji leaps at min grabbing his neck and forcing Mins body into the water attempting to kill him from the water. Min lets him as Benji strangles him furiously, memories flooding through his mind. Benji reaches for the cloth covering his face ripping it off to see the universe itself.

Benjis instincts kick as he backs up , to the end of the boat. The being called Min stands up, space itself, well a part of it, standing before Benji. He looks more of a black hole, Benjis stomach feels funny, he bends over the boat throwing up in the ocean as the smaller beings body cannot withstand the black hole of a man.

“You’re an interesting one” Min says covering his face back up with the cloth. “ I still can’t understand why he would save you” he adds. As he looks at Benji tilting his head, “ maybe he felt pity , oh well not my problem , anyways you have no use”.

Min snaps his hands summoning to a place like before, except the green and yellow fields replaced with dead plants and dark cracked dirt, the blue sky now a painful red. Maybe this is helva (version of hell), Benji thinks the boat summoned with them. He turns to see Min had disappeared. I will kill him, Benji thinks as he stands. Maria wouldn’t want that. Benji hears as he turns, no one amidst him.

He soon feels an aching pain in his chest, not pain from the memories but pain feeling like his heart is being ripped out. Min left him in his realm to rot, he sees no use of Benji.

Benji coughs blood as he looks at it as fear strikes him, he grips the dirt in pain. He will not die here, not in the hands of who brought him so much pain. He isn’t done what he wants. He quickly gets up as I tears a pierce of wood from the boat. He feels his chest in pain. He looks up seeing a purple star as he falls onto his back. He sees an arm reach towards him as his eyes close.

He awakes , he’s still in what he sees as the hell hole. He sees a similar figure to Min, but it looks different, it has more layers of clothing, the clothing a red color with yellow stripes and gold attachments on the bottom of the layers. His face is covered by a black cloth veil. Was it god? Benji thinks to himself. The being puts his hand inside Benji's chest, his hand going through it, no pain can be felt on Benji's part. The being pulls out a ball of light from his chest. It takes its arm, biting it, trailing its blood onto the light , and puts it back into Benji as he passes out.

He had just died, now , he will be reborn by the god before him.
