Passing Time
After talking with Lizzy Aberdeen put her phone back in her bag and started to get ready, Adjusting her messy bun from earlier in the morning she she placed a midnight blue ribbon with frosted white edges including a pearl hair pin in it. “That looks about right…” Taking a small mirror she pints it at the back of her head trying to see how her hair looks from behind. “It’s perfect! Though I hope it does hold the whole night…” Putting on her dress she gently adjust it to fit her just right, Taking out a small pouch from her bag she put’s on a peach pink lipstick, Looking herself over in the mirror she made some final adjustment’s to her regalia.
Gathering her thing’s she left the parlor room, Heading toward the door she takes out dark blue shoes with a string of pearls attached to them. “I know she said that these were a very comfortable brand of shoes but…” Looking over the shoes she does not look very enthusiastic. “While Lizzy trust them so I will to…” Looking down at her flat shoes then back at her heals she thinks for a moment. “I think I’m just going to leave my comfy shoes on!” Rushing out the door she leaves a tip for the staff, Leaving the boutique there was already a car waiting. “Are you Miss Gregor?” Aberdeen smiled. “I am…” The man stepped out of the car then opened the door for her. “Thank you,” Aberdeen said with a bright smile placing her things into the car first then she got in.
Aberdeen looked through her phone while she was taken to her destination, Looking over the news headline’s she sighed while thoughtlessly reading over them. “Seven different way’s to get back at your boss… What a headache!” Despite her initial thoughts there was an interesting sub article, The title was I stole a family Heirloom/Artifact from my boss! The word artifact specifically caught her eye. “Why in the world would someone do that!” Reading over it she found out some interesting information. “It’s a wealthy family from the region there an old standing family, He was told to retrieve it from there personal volt of family heirlooms…. Why do they always hint at the family but never actually tell us who they are!” Looking at her phone with a somewhat intense frustration she mumbled to herself. “And who in there right mind would let there assistant retrieve such a valuable item without there own presents!” She griped her phone tightly as she continued to read with a look of anticipation on her face only to come to a disappointing end. “So they didn’t get to him before he sold it! Or wait… Are they trying to misdirect us?!” Aberdeen eyes get bright as if there were star’s shining in them, She went over the article again looking to see if there was any clues. “Is there really nothing?!” Aberdeen’s expression saddened. “Well.., I guess I’m just missing the thrill of salving that puzzle box…”
As Aberdeen looked up she released that she had arrived at the restraint, Gathering her thing’s she carefully got out of the car thanking the driver as she went.
