Renault opened his inventory and looked at the novice pack and the level-up pack with a smile. Back in the game, these packs were hard to come by. Some wealthy players could only get the novice pack through special virtual helmets, and the level-up pack was exclusive to secret state players.

He opened the novice pack to reveal a set of beginner equipment: clothes, pants, shoes, and a beginner’s sword.

Opening the level-up pack, he found 100 blood pills, which were used to restore health. There were also 10 anesthetic pills, suitable for use on monsters between levels 1 and 5.

The level-up pack could be opened every five levels, and it contained various auxiliary items to help with fast leveling.

Renault's attack power had always been strong, but his defense and health were too low, making it easy for monsters to kill him.

But now, with equipment and pills, even with his poor defense as a waste-tier character, he could still level up with ease if he was careful.

He equipped himself with the beginner gear and gripped the novice sword. At this point, Renault opened his character sheet once again.
