Chapter 11: Eclipto 

Diz summons them to a new planet, Eclipto. The shadow planet, Eclipto is known for always being hidden, only appearing at times. Created when the sun and moon collided into one. A lush full planet of greenery and life. Although, it looks different when they get there.

Benji gets up, ignoring Min's presence as he notices a tall sharp mountain.

“ it’s in there,” Min says blankly.

Benji scoffs, not wanting to answer Min's smug face. Benji stands walking towards the mountain as he feels himself sink. He looks down as he sees he’s sinking into a pit of tar and gunk. Min grabs Benji's arms before it’s too late, lifting him up out of the tar and back to the chalky and burnt ground. 

Benji yanks himself from Min's grasp, annoyed as Min's covered face has no trace of any emotion from Benji's perspective at all. Benji continues to walk a bit more carefully, he feels a burning sensation on his cheeks. He touches to see a small wet mark as he feels more. Rain. Not just Rain, acid rain.

Benji panics slightly looking around for a temporary shelter as he’s scooped onto Min's shoulder as Min runs into a cave. He throws Benji down onto the ground as he’s upset. 

Benji sits down on his knees to his chin as he watches the acid rain fall down. He soon thinks, I was killed before, and I was fine? This acid should be nothing , right? Benji stands walking to the rain as mins hand stops him. 

“ what?” Benji asks, “ this rain shouldn’t affect us right? Let’s go” he adds.

“ You idiot, this planet has celestial power in it, celestial power? You know it? The planet's habitat and environment is also affected by its power just by being by it. The rain is dangerous for normal creatures, yes, but now it’s dangerous for us” Min says, pushing Benji back into the cave, making him fall on his backside. 

Benji groans angrily but understands why he stopped him. He dislikes the feeling of having Min “protecting” him from harm. Min looks back at him a bit bored. 

“ Planning on killing me?” Min asks upfront which makes Benji tense up a bit.

“ What if I am?” He scowls.

Min shrugs. “ You won’t be able to, but I appreciate the determination”.

Benji remembers celestials , if Diz is able to kill them, then why can’t he? Maybe if he gets closer to Diz he could ask it as a favor? No, he wants to do it himself. He shakes his head in complication.

“ Only celestials can kill other celestials, that or either black holes, although I could be considered a black hole” Min yaps. 

Benji rolls his eyes as he starts to mess with the broken and cracked dirt like texture on the ground. Min glares at Benji through the side of his face cover. 

“ why-“ Min is cut off as they hear a sharp sound. It’s thundering, the thunder isn’t like normal thunder. It cracks its own crust of the planet. It’s able to break through and pierce the ground it hits. Min hears more thunder as he groans in irritation. Benji stands to see as a thunderbolt bolt almost strikes him but Min grabs him in time for him to be safe. 

Some of the thunderbolt hit a bit of Min's arm tearing a gash across it. His skin slowly attaches itself together in an attempt of self regeneration. Benji breathed a bit unsteady as he felt his life flash before his eyes. He glances at Min a bit upset , his family’s killer had just saved him. 

After a bit, the rain and thunder comes to a calm end. They peak outside as they start to walk towards the peak of the mountain. They walk and walk soon coming to the front of the mountain. The sky is pitch black, darker than the void itself, the only thing casting its glow is the small stars hidden in them twinkling. They started to walk further near the mountain, the bottom of the mountain had dark black lines creeping up it like veins. 

Veins. Could the planet be alive?

It could be possible, after all, the planet's source does come from a celestial being itself. The planet must've been more luscious than this, most likely due to Diz and his tyrants against Simetria. Although, how could a planet rot so quickly? So easily? Only way for it to become this horrid is if the celestial herself was killed already. 

Min soon figures this out, there must be something he and Diz along with Benji must not know. He thinks someone else is involved in the revolution, a clandestine of sorts. Diz could be chasing away nothing if this theory is correct, someone is either oblivious to them or trying to go against them. They could still be on the planet, rotting the planet as if Simetria never existed, wiping away their presence in the universe. But who?

Min decides to keep a close eye on everything around them. Just in case his theory is true, his job will be finished. Min turns to see if Benji is still following to tell him to be cautious . He's not there.
