Chapter 13: The Chameleon 

Diz couldn’t seem to find Simteria, he noticed he can’t seem to sense Benji's body. He quickly makes his way to the planet , he sees that it’s not lush full, only a shriveled up version of its previous self. He searches the planet to find his disciple. He finds a long line of red blood, he looks down to see claw-like parts, he looks further to see a celestial core, left there. It’s not fully intact, all that is left are a handful of orange shards.

He hears Min's voice calling , he immediately goes to him noticing Benji's missing as he questions. Min doesn’t know himself, explaining he looked away for a second then gone.

Benji walks out, his tan clothing stained with blood. He runs to Diz clutching his red robes. “ oh sir you won’t believe what happened!” He says. Diz looks at Benji confused at first, his pupils scattering across his face.

“ He never called me sir” 

Benji's face sours as it turns to nothing, like a scratched out face. A blank canvas. Benjis body distorts into something different. Viven reveals himself to be the chameleon. His black tar body has spats of blood.

Diz and Min back up confused , he had only heard of Viven not in the, well somewhat flesh? 

“ Where is my disciple? “ Diz demands. 

Viven sinks into the shadows, he soon comes down pulling up a head, then a body. 

“ I had quite a trouble keeping him from running away” Viven says his body almost infused with the shadows. His face is never shown, he just stands there. 

“ It's never too late to change your mind, “ Viven says to Diz. Viven groans, tossing the body in front of the feet of Diz and Min. Min pulls Benji away dealing with him leaving Diz to deal with Viven. 

“ Don’t be like this Vivien” Diz says walking closer to the shadows.

“ You're too scared. You preach about killing and continuing your reputation of justice, yet you're too scared to commit.” Viven points at Benji's body.

“ I am on your side Diz, but that doesn’t mean I’m scared to defy you. I’m done following you. This is my warning, rethink. “ Viven says before sinking back into the shadows disappearing.

“ You are cleansing , I am exterminating” he echoes before fully leaving.
