And then the man had just burst into tears. 

Mick was stunned to say the least. 

"No- wait- no- don't cry-" Mick was panicking "Niko-"

"Don't." 

And now Niko was snapping at him. Mick looked stunned as he watched Niko just move away from him and sit as far away from him as he could. Mick didn't know what to say... what was even going on? Mick watched as Niko very angerily just tried (and failed) to tug on his own pants 

"Let me help-"

"No." 

Mick watched as Niko finally sat back down- he hadn't even bothered with a shirt- but then again Mick was only wearing a blanket. 

"I can't believe- I let this happen."

"Let what happen?"

"This." Niko gestured between the two "THIS."
"I mean we were like drunk... but I thought we were- fine? I mean you seemed aware-"
"I was aware. And now im pissed off."

"Was it something I said? I'm sorry if I-"

"Save it. All you people are the same." 

"All- who?"

When Niko didn't answer- Mick grew frustrated. 

"Your not making any sense Niko."
"Don't call me that."

"Then tell me what the hell is wrong! Everything was fine!"

"OH yeah- everything WAS fine. Keyword WAS."
"Well I can't help you if I don't know what's wrong!" Mick snapped 

"You- and all the women you-"

"That's literally in the past- you didn't even know me!" Mick looked dumbfounded "You can't seriously be jealous over something that happened before I knew you!" 

"What kind of pathetic loser do you think I am?" 
"I don't think your a loser- I'm just saying-"

"Just shut up." 

That did it. Mick was officially angry. 

"Don't tell me to shut up!" Mick snapped "You are being unreasonable right now! You won't even tell me what's wrong- and now your acting like you don't even want to be anywhere near me! I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING-"

"YOUR NOT EVEN GAY OK?!" 

The minute Niko yelled that Mick faltered. 

"Well- I mean yeah I'm not gay-"

"Exactly! That's the problem." 

"How is that- why is that-"
"Oh you think it's fun as a straight guy to just go around fucking other men?!" 

OH. 

Maybe he should have started with the fact that he was bi... 

"Niko- I'm not gay because I'm bi." Mick muttered "Probably should have clarfied but I- is that why you started to cry?"
"The crying never happened."

"Right... we'll forget about that..." Mick said knowing full well Niko was probably a guy that hated showing his emotions "Is that why your upset? You think I'm straight?"

"Well now I know your not so it's whatever." 

Yeah no... something else was definintly wrong. 

"Niko... are you... ok?"

"Why?"

"Just- you keep flinching when I mention a certain "g" word... and it's concerning me..." 

"Yeah well not everyone can be happy with themselves." Niko snapped 

And there it was. Mick had sort of guessed from this entire interaction that Niko either didn't like himself- or he hated the fact he was gay. Mick knew it was probably both. 

"I... understand... I was there once to yah know?" Mick muttered

"You don't understand. Your a regular person. Your not in the mafia where every man is expected to have a wife."

"I might not understand the mafia side of things... but... I do understand what it's like to not like a certain part of yourself."

"tch-"

Mick scooted closer to Niko, until he was sitting right beside the guy

"I honestly... I used to hate the fact that I felt the way I do- I mean some girl literally didn't even want to be with me because of it-" Mick muttered "But... I learned that you have to accept yourself."
"Yeah well- easy for you to say."
"Niko... it's perfectly ok to like men." Mick looked at him "And it's perfectly ok to cry. And it's perfectly ok- to feel the way you do. I mean I'm not going to go around telling everyone in the mafia your gay ok?"

"It's hard for me."

"Yeah I gathered that...." Mick mumbled "But... it'll be ok. I'm here."
"You say that like-"

"Like what? Were friends?"
"Yeah..."

Mick snorted. Of course Niko would say something like that. Mick sighed and grabbed Niko by the face 

"Niko- I've seen you without clothes on. I think that might qualify as friends- or perhaps more"

"So were friends?"
"Friends who fucked once yeah."

"Techincally twice."
"Fine... friends who fucked twice." 

"So friends with benefits then...."

"Yeah... friends with benefits."

"You better not be one of those guys that get's horny 24/7"

"Trust me I'm not."

"Good." 

There was quiet for a moment- before Mick spoke up again 

"So were good then...? Your ok?"

"I'm fine now" 

"Are you sure- you want to just be friends with benefits...?"

Silence.

Mick had been friends with people before... with the whole benefits part included. Despite the fact that Mick could tell he was starting to get very strong feelings for the man sitting next to him- if Niko only wanted to be friends with benefits then Mick would respect that. Mick couldn't help but feel sad... and it looked like it was showing on his face because he found himself in Niko's arms

"Don't be sad for me..."
"I'm not- I-"
"It's written all over your face"

"I just- you never answered my question."
"Because I don't exactly know what I want. I mean... i'm beginning to feel a bit better about liking men... but I'm not exactly sure... what kind of relasionship I want..."

"You don't have to decide right now..." Mick muttered 

"I do know that I would like to... do this again..."

"Adult fun time?"

Mick could only smile as Niko burst into laughter. He liked Niko's laugh, espically when it sounded so genuine. 

"I mean- i'd love to top your ass"
"I'd love it if you did." Mick chuckled "But you gotta let me take the reigns sometimes right?"
"If you keep your annoyingness in check"
"So if I'm good...?" 

"Pfft-" Niko slightly smirked "Is that right?"
"I'm half joking- I mean we have a very unestablished relasionship here."

"I thought we were friends- now we have a power dynamic? You need to make up your mind Mick."

"I was mostly joking!"

"Yeah key word- mostly." 

Mick rolled his eyes but he was actually quite happy. As much as he hadn't wanted to stop the serious discussion of Niko's hatred- he knew Niko needed a break from being stuck in his own thoughts. So Mick would save the helping for later. He had managed to make Niko slightly relax- and that was really what was important. 

"See? It got you to laugh." Mick shrugged "That was my end goal"

"Yeah uh huh" Niko muttered before he glanced at Mick "I suppose our relationship can be "unlabeled" if that's ok with you?"

"Unlabeled..."
"Yeah... I mean... I think I know I-"

Mick simply kissed Niko for a brief moment as if to say "that's fine with me" but that brief kiss turned into a much longer one. The two were back to making out yet again on the bed

"mmm... unlabeled? seems to me like you like me..." Mick muttered jokingly against Niko's lips 

"Shut up" Niko simply said before he sank his teeth into Mick's lip, he then grinned and pulled back "Oh you- you can't keep your reactions to yourself can you?"

"Shut up- I'm trying to kiss you so we can start our unlabeled relationship"

Niko just rolled his eyes before he sat Mick down in his lap so Mick was straddling him. 

"Then go ahead. Kiss me."

This man was unbelievably hot and Mick was more than happy to make out with him all night long... 

Unlabeled... 

He could work with that...
