Liam and Carter walked in the house and they were greeted by the omega's parents. Liam happily showed off his engagement ring with a proud smile on his face. Carter stood in the background carefully watching the dad's reaction. He was afraid of the man, because he couldn't even imagine how stressful it might be to have your son knocked up by a complete stranger who doesn't mate him and want's to get married for some reason.

"So your the man who got my only son pregnant!" the omega's dad looked at Carter. "Tell me why exactly are you wasting time on something as usless as marrige, if you could just mate him?" He shouted at the alpha.

"Hello sir, I'm Carter Black, yes I'm the father. I know it's emberrassing, but I always wanted to get married, that's why I asked your son if he was okay with it. I will mate him, I just needed time to figure things out since getting with Liam during my rut was the only time I slept with a guy and I'm not gay so I wasn't sure how I'll do it again." the alpha said nervousley.

"Alright Carter, you can call me mister Hall. Fine, you can marry my son. I expect you to make everyone believe that he is the love of your life, so much so that simply mating wouldn't be enaugh. I don't care what your sexuality is, you really need to sell that lovestory and treat him well, make sure his pregnancy won't end up bad. "

"Don't worry sir the proposal was public and I can make an engagement post, if you'd like. About the pregnancy we have a midwife in the family, I'll make sure everything goes well, he'll be in great hands." the alpha answered.

"I'm glad to see you're responsible, but I still don't trust you. Hurt my son and you might find yourself in a hospital! The post is a good idea, you two should take a picture together for it." Mr Hall was a bit less hostile, but Carter could tell he was serious about the hospital thing.

"Got it!"

Carter took a picture with Liam showing off their engegament rings and smiling proudly. The alpha posted it with a bit of text.

' You all know I'm stupid enaugh to get married when I really dont have to, the good news is I found someone who matches my crazyness. I never thought this day would come so soon and I didn't expect the love of my life to turn out to be a male omega either, but what can I do? He made me question everything, but I don't mind it. This could have never happened whitout Luca, so thank you :)'

Mr Hall looked closley at the whole thing and he nodded approvingly, Mrs Hall smiled at her future son in law and Liam seemed to be happy with it too, so Carter posted it. Soon his phone was blowing up from responses from family members, friends and people from his college. A lots of people were surprised, some critcized him for not letting of his dreams about marrige, but there were congratulations as well. Luca even decided to tell everyone how happy he is, because he got to see the public proposal from up close. Soon he had messages from distant family member scolding him for not even introducing his fiancé to them. Up to that point everyone seemed to have accepted the lovestory they created and it made the alpha sigh in relief. 

The engaged guys talked with the parents for a little longer, they got to know eachoter better and discussed Liam's pregnancy. Mr hall was still acting passive-aggressive, but he looked like was holding back a smile. They said their goodbyes and Carter drove home.

After he arrived his phone started ringing, he was terrified to see Theo's name on the screen. They were close friends with beta, but that guy was a hard case to crack Carter wasn't sure he believed the engagement post. Theo could always tell when his friends were lying and he called them out on it too. He was the most responsible from the friendgroup. With sligltly shaking hands Carter picked it up.

"Theo, hi! What's up?" He asked attempting to sound casual.

"Drop the act you know why I called, everyone is talking about what you posted!" Theo replied not so nicley.

"Yeah it blew up didn't it? I've got a lots of comments and messages, except from you."

"Well I've only seen it now and I wanted to talk in private. You might have convinced everyone with your lovestory, but I know your lying. I mean come on it sounds like a plot of a shitty romcom!" The beta said.

"Well it's not a lie, we really are getting married!" Carter tried to distract his friend.

"Okay, but you don't love him, do you? So why now, why him? What kind of trouble did you get yourself into?" Theo asked impatiently.

"You wanna know the truth? Fine, I'll tell you if you keep it a secret. I'm serious, no one can know!" The alpha sighed.

"I won't tell, you have my word for it!"

"I made him pregnant, he went into heat at Luca's party and it triggered my rut. We have a baby on the way, I need to buy some time before I mate him."

"So you're gonna be a dad now?" 

"Yeah. Any other questions?"

"How did you found out? Does he want the kid? Is he nesting yet?"

"Luca and James told me a few weeks after the party. Yes, he always wanted child. I don't know, I think so, I've been giving him some of my clothes."

"Okay, so let me see if I understand it. You couldn't control yourself and fucked a guy, he got pregnant and now your playing happy family to cover up"

"Something like that"

"Okay, I've heard enaugh, thanks. Good luck with the baby. See you tomorrow!"

"Yeah, see you!"

They hung up.
