Once they were reunited, the Braw Agents praised and cheered each other. High fives and cheers of victory burst from the group. “I knew we could do it!” exclaimed Hannah. “Those stone warriors are gone!” examined Elsa. “Not only that, but the buildings are back to normal,” stated Edward. “But how?” asked Narvy. “The Avere Maioure was destroyed,” explained Bobby. “When that happened, it must have undone the stone transformation.” The celebrations continued for a bit longer, but then they noticed an unwelcome guest.
“What’s he doing here?” asked Rita in a state of shock. Harold wasn’t taken aback by this; he knew not everyone would forgive him like Oliver. “Don’t worry Rita, I’m calling the police,” replied Narvy. Before he could grab out his phone, Oliver spoke up. “Guys, calm down,” he ordered. “Harold was my former student. It’s a long story, but he’s no longer evil.” The Braw Agents were surprised to hear this. Bobby supported Oliver’s claim. “He’s right. I saw Harold turn good,” he explained. At that moment, the Braw Agents settled down and accepted Harold’s presence.
Just then, Oliver noticed something in the distance. It was a swarm of white cars driving towards them. The red and blue flickering lights could only mean one thing. Harold stood there, completely mortified. “Hide somewhere,” ordered Oliver, with panic in his voice. Harold ran to the nearest alleyway and hid behind whatever he could find. “I didn’t call them,” explained Narvy. “I didn’t even get to pull out my phone.” Shortly after, the cars parked up. The doors on each flipped open. Several people dressed in blue walked out of the vehicles. When they encountered the Braw Agents, the outcome was very different from what they expected. “We saw that you eight were involved with this situation,” said one of the officers. The Braw Agents were all terrified. They thought the police had mistaken them for allies of the stone warriors. They prepared themselves to be put in handcuffs, but this was not the case.
“We know that you were fighting against the threat,” explained another officer. “We came to you just because we want to know who was behind the scheme. Particularly the two people who stood on that building.” At that moment, all feelings of worry and dread left the Braw Agents. “One of them is gone,” explained Oliver. “He was turned to stone and thrown into the ocean.” “So, where’s the other one?” asked one officer. Although he tried not to show it Oliver became frightened. He couldn’t send his former student back to his miserable old life.
Just then, Bobby noticed something in the distance. It was Charlina, standing around in the middle of the street. “Over there,” claimed Bobby. “She’s the other person behind this scheme.” The police officers left the Braw Agents and approached Charlina. “So, nice weather today, isn’t it?” she chattered. Charlina had little time to react before her hands were locked in a pair of handcuffs. “You are under arrest for destruction, use of illegal artefacts and the creation of this whole scheme,” explained one officer. Charlina was taken aback by the last statement. “I may have been involved with this scheme, but I wasn’t the one pulling the strings,” she commented. “That’s what they all say,” replied an officer, as they threw her into a car. “Ugh, whatever,” groaned Charlina, before the door shut. All of the cops returned to their cars, then they drove away from where the Braw Agents stood.
With the police gone, Harold emerged from the alleyway. He may not have seen anything, but he had heard everything that went on. “Thanks for covering up for me,” said Harold. “No problem,” replied Oliver. “Wait, it’s been twenty years and I haven’t been proven innocent yet, what should I do?” asked Harold. “Don’t worry, I’ll find a way to clear your name,” answered Oliver in a reassuring voice. “In the meantime, be free, live your life, you deserve some rest after these last twenty years,” he added. Harold smiled, albeit with a bit of strain.
Shortly after, Oliver and Beth walked away. Not just from Harold, but from all of the Braw Agents. Bobby was confused and decided to catch up to them. “Where are you going?” he asked. “We’re going home, today’s been quite heavy going for both of us,” explained Oliver. “But we’re not injured, nor are we even that tired,” stated Bobby. “Well, we’re old, and we can’t take what young people can,” replied Beth. Bobby found this explanation to be logical enough. “Bye,” he exclaimed, while waving his hand. Oliver and Beth waved back before walking off. In a matter of seconds, they both disappeared over the horizon.
Narvy, Hannah, Edward, Rita, and Elsa remained in the city. Bobby turned to them and asked, “Are you guys proud of what we did?” All of them replied to him at the same time. Bobby heard a garbled mix of voices and phrases, but he was able to make out some cohesive replies, such as “Yeah”, “Of course”, and “It was great”. “I think a reward is in order,” announced Bobby. “Do you have anything in mind?” asked Hannah. “I was just going to ask you that same question,” replied Bobby.
At that moment, a giant conversation took place between the Braw Agents. They came up with various ideas. Although most of them were not legit and were just the result of spitballing. “We could spend the rest of the day at Fluvaria’s Hydro Centre,” suggested Rita. “We need our togs to do that,” explained Hannah. She then suggested her own idea. “How about we go to the library and read all of the books there.” After her suggestion there was nothing but dead silence among the Braw Agents. “Nobody? Just me? Alright,” commented Hannah. “We could go to the shops and spend huge amounts of cash on stylish outfits,” recommended Elsa. “Where would you get tons of cash from?” asked Bobby. Elsa stood there awkwardly. She couldn’t think of a plausible answer. “I have an idea,” announced Edward. “How about we collect the pieces of the Avere Maioure, rebuild it and keep it as our super weapon,” he suggested, as a joke. “Yeah, let’s not do that,” replied Narvy.
Just then, Narvy realised he had his wallet with him. He grabbed it from his pocket and hoped a bit of cash would give him some ideas. When he opened it, he found twenty-five dollars. “I don’t know about you, but I’m hungry,” stated Narvy. “Where are you going with this?” asked Bobby. “I was thinking we could buy some fish and chips,” answered Narvy. “Great idea,” commented Hannah. “We could eat them at the beach.” “My plan was to eat them at the restaurant, but that sounds even better,” replied Narvy. “I’ll order a hot dog,” commented Bobby. “I don’t know what I’ll get,” said Narvy. “But I’ll order a big scoop of hot chips for all of us to share.” Bobby and Hannah greatly approved of Narvy’s idea. Edward, Rita, and Elsa also showed their approval. “What are we waiting for, let’s go,” said Elsa. She had not eaten all day, partly due to the events she had to attend.
Before walking off with his friends, Bobby looked at Harold. They made eye contact with each other. Bobby stood there and gave Harold a reassuring wink. Harold continued to smile, but his expression was no longer strained. Having someone other than Oliver believe in his good-hearted nature, eliminated his negative thoughts. Harold then walked away, without saying anything.
Just then, Bobby noticed that his friends had already started walking to the fish and chip shop. “Wait for me,” he called, while running towards them. It was easy for Bobby to catch up to his friends, since they had not gone far. After their celebratory fish and chips, the Braw Agents planned on going home. They, too, needed some rest after a long stressful day.
20 years ago, a man named Harold was framed for a murder. Now he seeks revenge on his hometown Fluvaria. Upon hearing the news, a teenage boy named Bobby gathers his friends and forms a crime-fighting team. Will it be enough to stop the threat?
