Some time passes…

“Okay let's go back and see what the men have found out,” said Myla. “Yes, ma’am,” responded Danni.

Before heading back she asked Danni to wait outside the main house. Myla stops by the garden. “Ma’am are you alright?” asked Danni. “Yes just got a bit of dirt on me but no problem. Let's head in,” said Myla. As they head in Myla is wiping the dirt off her hands and knees.

Noises of boots on hardwood floors…

“The lady is back,” said a recruit. “Everyone get ready to speak with the madam,” said another recruit.

Noises of boots quieting down and lining up…

“Madam!” yelled the recruits. “No need to address me so loudly during this investigation,” said Myla. “Yes,” said the recruits. “Have you found anything of importance?” asked Danni. “There are some things missing like clothing and such. We asked some of the maids that are closely assigned to the young ladies. Also, make note of anything missing or moved. Madam, do you notice anything out of order in the young ladies' rooms?” asked one of the recruits.

“Well, I haven’t had much chance to take a look. But here in Xio's rooms, there is some clothing and one pair of shoes missing,” said Myla. Myla closely looks at Xio’s closet and then looks under her bed. “Danni hand me a paper and pen,” said Myla. Danni goes to Xio’s writing desk and grabs the notepad and pen. The men look curiously at both Danni and the madam. Myla starts to check Xio’s room from bottom to top. She makes many stops in between going back and forth to Xio and Jini's rooms. Myla takes many notes and makes sketches. The men are looking at her with such suspicion as to her actions. “She looks like a madman,” one of the recruits whispered. Danni looked at the recruit with anger and disgust he headed towards the recruit when…

“Here is a list and some rough sketches of what is missing and what has been moved,” said Myla to Danni. “From what I can tell they weren’t kidnapped they willingly left,” said Myla. “Madam how can you tell?” said a recruit. 

“Well they might not have looked it but both my girls were trained by their father and uncles on fighting skills when they were younger. So if they were forcibly taken there would be more of a mess in their rooms and blood. If they had been kidnapped why would they take their time to pack up some of the girl's things? Considering someone might have shown up and interrupted them,” explained Myla. “You are right madam,” said a recruit. “But then why did the young ladies leave?” asked another recruit. “I know they weren’t taken I think that's all that matters,” softly responded Myla.

“They aren’t missing they just left home without letting anyone know,” said Danni. “Yes sir but is this the answer that the master seeks?” questioned a recruit. “No, but it is the truth,” said Myla. “Oh madam a maid from the 6th division wanted to talk with you,” said another recruit. “I will let Ki know what you have found. Everyone, get back to training. Danni, talk with security and give me what they have found as well,” said Myla.

“Madam do you not trust our investigation?” asked a recruit. “I trust the investigation of the girl’s rooms other than that no,” responded Myla. “what do you mean? Madam” said a recruit. “Well did you check outside the main house? Around the whole compound? The camera around the area, did you even talk with security? They are the main family's guard for a reason.” said Myla. “We did what you told us, madam,” said another recruit.

As Myla sculls the recruit Danni heads over to the security team and talks with them on their side of the investigation.

“Yes you did what you were told, I am not denying that I said to investigate their room but I also am not going to let the top or any recruits freely look around the whole compound. Even if you made it out this far, it doesn’t mean you are a part of the main family,” coldly said Myla. 

Heavy silence spread around the air. The men were put into their place. At first, the recruits didn’t like what the madam had said but then she said “I am not saying what you did was useless. It's more like what you did was the job you were instructed to do. Even though doing what you are told to do isn’t anything special in the family. You followed instructions and did your part of the job well. But don’t expect the family to give you thanks or to rely only on your answers. The family has many members we have to get many different perspectives not just one, because it wouldn’t be fair to trust one member. Everyone experiences and views things differently, every input needs to be looked at to get the best understanding.”

The realization that the recruits all felt, they were just a piece of the family. They aren’t special members but it doesn't mean they are completely useless. Their input is helpful in the long run even if they don’t understand it. Myla tells them to go back and think about what she said and where in the family they want to be a part of. Danni waits for the security’s information to see if anything needs to be hidden. Myla heads over to the 6th division to talk with a maid.

(Meanwhile Ki…)

“Sir is that all?” said the trainer. “Yes that is all… if the recruits aren’t helpful to Myla you will be kicked out. Do you understand?” said Ki.

Ki heads back to the garden before going to his room.

Soft footsteps approach the garden doors

The steps get heavy…

Ki stops and notices that the sunflower has gained a twin. Now two sunflowers were placed with the wild flowers. One neatly placed and the other roughly. His blood temperature raised. Ki quickly is about to head in but instead, he pulls his sleeves up and with his bare hands grabs a sunflower. He heads inside the greenhouse and places the flower in a pot. So it's by themselves and contained by him. The sunflower now can only be freed by him and no one else.

Ki sits down and starts to smirk to himself. He looks at his hands covered in dirt and starts to laugh his madness got the better of him that night. “If only it was this simple and easy” Ki said to himself.

Ki gets up the chair falls.
