The village is waking up under a misty dawn. KALEN, filled with a newfound

determination, walks through the market. The villagers exchange distracted,

worried glances. Kalen approaches ELARA, who is sitting on a stone wall,

sketching a dragon.

KALEN

(joining her)

You really think there’s something out there… something powerful?

Elara looks up, her eyes reflecting a mix of seriousness and excitement.

ELARA

The legends say the dragons left their power in ruins, hidden in the land.

That’s where we need to go—where the magic still lingers.

Kalen leans over her shoulder to catch a glimpse of her drawing—an elegant

ice dragon.

KALEN

(impressed)

You’re really skilled. What do you know about the ruins?

Elara puts the sketch aside and stands up, with a spark in her eyes.

ELARA

I’ve heard stories from wandering travelers. They say they’re guarded by

powerful creatures and a dark curse.

Kalen frowns but is undeterred.

KALEN

Then we have to go there… We need to find out what’s hidden.

THE WOODS - LATER

Kalen and Elara navigate through the dense forest. The sounds of distant

creatures stir the thick underbrush. Sunlight struggles to penetrate the canopy

above.

ELARA

Stay close. The deeper we go, the more unpredictable things become.

Kalen nods, his nerves tingling with both fear and excitement. Finally, they

reach a clearing where ancient ruins lie overgrown and crumbling.

RUINS - CONTINUOUS

The ruins are magnificent yet sinister, with large stone pillars covered in

strange symbols. The atmosphere is thick with magic. Kalen stares in awe.

KALEN

This is incredible…

He approaches a wall, tracing his fingers over the carvings. As he does, a

BEAM OF LIGHT shoots from a symbol, bathing him in its glow. Kalen flinches

but stands his ground.

ELARA

(stepping closer)

You must be connected to the magic here.

Suddenly, a RUMBLE fills the air. The ground shakes, and they hear a

GROWL erupting from the shadows.

ELARA

We need to—

From behind the ruins, a LARGE SHADOWY FIGURE emerges, a monstrous

creature that expresses both menace and ancient power. Its glowing eyes

fixate on Kalen and Elara.

RUINS - MOMENTS LATER

The creature, a GRIFFON, moves closer, claws scraping against the stone.

Kalen steps protectively in front of Elara.

KALEN

(defiantly)

Stay back! We mean no harm!

The Griffon lets out a deafening ROAR, causing the ruins to tremble. Kalen’s

heart races as he feels a surge of energy from the ruins. It’s overwhelming,

like a part of him is awakening.

With a deep breath, Kalen gathers his resolve.

KALEN

I can do this.

He raises his hand, a faint BLUE LIGHT flickering at his fingertips. The Griffon

hesitates, eyeing the light with curiosity mixed with caution.

ELARA

(whispering)

Kalen, don’t push it!

Kalen speaks softly, trying to calm the creature.

KALEN

(gently)

I’m not here to fight you. We just want to learn.

The Griffon tilts its head, the hostility in its gaze softening. Suddenly, the light

from the ruins intensifies, causing the Griffon to back away, sensing the magic

emanating from Kalen.

KALEN

(realizing)

It’s responding to the power within!

Just then, the GROUND SHAKES violently as SHADOWS twist around the

Griffon, morphing into the SHADOWY FIGURES from earlier—the CULT OF

SHADOWS emerges, led by AERON from the previous episode.

AERON

(smirking)

Well, well. What do we have here? Two little lost sheep stumbling into the

lion’s den.

Kalen feels a wave of fear wash over him but grips the power rising within. He

stands tall beside Elara.

KALEN

You’re the one who’s lost, Aeron. You don’t understand the power you’re

meddling with!

RUINS - CONTINUOUS

Aeron's SMILE widens, eyes glinting with malicious intent.

AERON

You foolish boy. Power is meant to be taken, not understood.

He gestures, and the shadowy figures advance, but Kalen raises his hand

again, a stronger light radiating from him.

KALEN

You won’t take anything from anyone!

The Griffon, sensing Kalen’s determination, CHARGES forward, roaring

fiercely. The cult members hesitate, taken aback.

ELARA

(yelling)

Kalen, channel that energy! Use it!

Kalen closes his eyes, feeling the energy flow through him. Suddenly, ice

crystals begin forming around him, reflecting the sunlight into a dazzling

display. The Griffon charges at the shadows, SCARING them back.

AERON

(growing frustrated)

No! You are nothing!

With a wave of his hands, shadowy tendrils lash out toward Kalen. In a

moments’ hesitation, the crystals shield him, dispersing the darkness as the

magic collides!

RUINS - LATER

The battle intensifies. The Griffon and Kalen battle as one force, pushing back

the Cult of Shadows. Elara fights alongside Kalen, using her skills to fend off

attackers. Finally, Kalen channels his icy magic, enveloping the shadows in

FROST.

KALEN

(shouting)

We’ll protect this place!

The remaining cultists scatter in fear, unable to withstand the united front.

Aeron glares at Kalen, filled with rage and disbelief.

AERON

This isn’t over, boy. You’ve only just awakened the darkness that seeks you!

With that, Aeron and the remaining cultists vanish into shadows, leaving

Kalen, Elara, and the Griffon panting in the aftermath.

RUINS - MOMENTS LATER

The air clears, and Kalen stumbles back, breathless. Elara rushes to his side,

her eyes wide with admiration and concern.

ELARA

That was amazing! You were incredible!

Kalen looks at the Griffon, who is now visibly calm, bowing its head in respect.

He smiles at Elara but then looks toward the ruins, a cloud of uncertainty

crossing his face.

KALEN

But what does it mean? What power do I really have?

Elara steps closer, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

ELARA

We’ll figure it out. Together. We have more to discover.

Kalen nods, newfound determination gleaming in his eyes. The sun breaks

through the clouds, casting a bright light upon the ruins, hinting at the potential

ahead.
