Amongst all kinds of stuff, she was hoping to happen seeing him standing there just outside her apartment complex wasn’t one of it.

 “Oh hi” he said as his face lit up after seeing her “Did you know that we live three or four minutes away from each other? Crazy right?”  

“Is it three or four?” She asked surprising herself with her own question. But she was genuinely curious.

“We could take a walk and find out”

 she burst out laughing at his directness.

“What are you even doing here?”

“Well, my manager told me I couldn’t ask you out and when I told her no, she took my phone so here I am” He explained but it just confused her even further, he wanted to ask her out? Why did his manager think he shouldn’t ask her out? And did he actually say no? Was she that important to him already?

“Can she take your phone like that?” She asked instead because she wasn’t ready to hear the answer to the rest of the questions.

“It’s fine we are friends, and she is just being dramatic she will give me back my phone eventually, but I couldn’t wait” all his life Rayan was confident, but this was too forward and too direct even for him and he was surprising himself and he knew he was acting crazy but for her he wanted to act crazy.

“How did you even get my address?” She was really curious, but she also knew it wasn’t that hard to figure out with all the media around.

“Rosie told me”

“I didn’t know you guys were close”

“Oh, we are not really I am working with her soon, so we met up today” He explained he didn’t want her to think that he was close with someone from her friends’ circle behind her back.

“Would you like to take a walk?” Yes, she changed the topic instantly honestly, she didn’t really care how he got here she was just glad that he was here. “Sure” he said, and they both took a walk down the street.

“Did you get invited to this huge wedding thing this weekend?” He asked as the walked next to each other.

“Oh yes my manager has been on my case forever trying to plan stuff for this it is driving me crazy” she said chuckling at her situation.

Later that day Aliza went to meet with her manager at her office as she walked in, she heard voices from inside and she realized that he wasn’t alone in there. She froze in her tracks and knocked on the door she had to admit that it was kind of weird knocking at the door of her own office. “Come in” Parth said, and Aliza walked in to see he was standing next to a beautiful woman.

“I didn’t know you would be coming in today” Parth said he was flustered to say the least as he was communicating with Aliza, but his eyes were on the girl standing next to him.

“I can see that” Aliza said looking her up and down.

“She is my girlfriend” Parth explained although it was obvious at this point.

“Okay that’s great and I would love to get to know you get to know you, but we have a problem” Aliza said her friendly demeanour from a minute ago shifting to her 'back to business' mode.

“What’s going on?” Parth asked concerned, now this wasn’t the first time Parth has seen this side of Aliza she was pretty good at sensing out trouble and getting ahead of it but this time it felt different.

“Well, I want to go out with Rayan and some bitch from his team is not letting him, so I need a solution ASAP” As soon as Aliza said those words the mood in the room instantly shifted and got tensed.

“Well, that’s not going to happen” Parth’s girlfriend spoke up. “Because I am the bitch from his team who is not letting him…...Hi I am Payal I am Rayan’s manager” she said as she came forward and shook hands with Aliza.

Aliza was impressed to say the least Payal was nothing like what she expected, and the fact that Parth had managed to keep a secret for this long was impressive considering his track record.

“You know what I like you, why you chose to be with someone like Parth is beyond me, so why don’t we sit down and cut a deal” Aliza asked. There is nothing in this world that was hotter than two women getting down to business in a professional mode even though the discussion involved avoiding a potential dating scandal and Parth was lucky to get front row seats to it.

“Aliza, I think you are great and as much as I think Rayan should be thanking his lucky stars to be in your presence this relationship has no major PR advantage it’s too risky” Payal said.

“I understand what you mean but not everything has to have a PR advantage and if we keep it on the down low there is not going to be any harm done” Aliza said.

“You cannot hide it forever I know it trust me people are going to find out and with your current breakup scandal and everything its really risky”

“Well, I have been doing this my whole life trust me I know how to get away with stuff” Payal still looked unconvinced.

“And if it works out between you and Parth, I will pay for your honeymoon to anywhere you want and that is on top of paid vacation every six months for the both of you” Aliza said.

“Deal” Payal said and both women shook hands.

A few days later Rayan was at a wedding that was one of the biggest events of that time he was standing in a corner looking sharp in his dark blue suit as usual, his eyes were wandering around looking at all the people who were there.

As the song started playing everyone’s attention was turned to the stage and there she was, clad in a white saree dancing to 90’s songs.

Aliza spotted him in the crowd and her face lit up as she danced on the stage with the spotlight on her and everyone watching her.
