6 months since the start of their journey. They were arriving on their 2nd destination because the previous one didn't have any planet that could sustain life. Minutes later, Amala announced that they had arrived on their destination, it's a planetary system orbiting a red dwarf.

Kincade steered their ship, passing an icy planet with several moons. They continued deeper into the planetary system and finally stumbled upon a terestrial planet located a bit further from the habitable zone. The planet was rather dim, although they could see it had atmosphere, also the land were mostly red.

"But how? on this distance it should be freezing cold." said Garland

"It have a magnetic field.. enough to protect it from radiation." Dianna added

"Hmm.." Kincade looking at something "There's a heat source near the planet."

Garland flicked his visor down "I see it, something projecting heat."

"What is it?" asked Rein

Kincade steered their ship towards the location of the heat source. They saw a large bright object orbiting the planet.

"Woah! what is that thing?" Sierra mouth agape

"A crystal?" Leena wondered

Rein asked Amala to scanned the bright object. Amala informed them that the object was made of unknown gemstone, and it played role in intesifying the light from the red dwarf, hot enough to warmed the planet.

"Boss, this worth investigating."

Rein nodded in aggrement, he asked Kincade to land on the largest continent.

"Buckle up!" Kincade steered in to the planet.

They entered the atmosphere. As they left the clouds, they were above the forest, all the trees were red.

"It's like autumn.." Dianna bubbled

"Look there!" Rose pointed at something

"That's!" Rein beamed "a road."

They followed the road until they saw a huge palace in the middle of a large town.

Garland stood from his seat "There's bunch of animals over there, looks like cows."

"Really?" Dianna also stood from her seat

"Amala, look for a safe place to land." said Rein

Kincade flew their ship above the cloud while waiting for amala to scanned the surrounding. Amala gave a coordinate of a location further away from the town. Kincade brought their ship to the location. They landed on a big patch of land surrounded by tall trees and hills, it's well hidden. Rein told Amala to sent drones to checked the town.

Moments later, the drones arrived at the town. Rein saw the inhabitant, they resembled human but their ears were long and pointy. Their technology were not advanced, they still riding a carriage pulled by a deer like creature with curved horns. Rein asked Amala to studied the town and their culture. It seemed they were having somekind of festival.

"Rein," said Leena "we need to do something with that gate."

"Hmm.." Rein looked at the gate, only visitor who owned somekind of a card with engraved symbol on it were allowed to enter the town. "Sierra, can you make that card?"

She looked at the monitor and smugly said "Easy!"

"What's your plan, boss?" asked Garland

Rein raised his finger "We will be a travelling merchant and join the festival. We could blend with the locals."

Rose pinched Rein cheek "Our leader's so smart!"

"Ouch!" Rein rubbing his cheek "We also need a carriage, disguise and merchandise to sell."

"Leave it to me!" said Sierra "Amala, i need data of their culture and sent some drones to gather materials"

"I'll help.." Dianna raised her hand

Sierra looked at Dianna "urgh.. alright.." before leaving the bridge, Dianna followed her.

Leena and Rose also decided to help them.

"Now.. we need that deer." said Rein "Amala, sent more drones, find those deer."

The drones found several deer near a small village, but it seemed they were owned by the villagers, they couldn't stole it, they need the wild ones. One of the drone flew further from their location and found a beautiful meidow. There, they saw a herd of deer like creature.

"Boss, are you sure they are the same creature? they looks.. different."

Garland was right, they were stockier and they possesed ornate spiral horns, their bodies were also covered with stripes which radiate light.

"Maybe the wild relative?" Rein waving his hand

"Well.. Could be.. "

Rein asked Kincade and Laylah to join him capturing one of the deer. Garland went ahead to prepared the transport craft. Rein asked Fabian to stay behind to gather more data. Before heading to the hangar, Rein went to the storage room and put some fruits into his bag.

Rein, Kincade, Laylah and Garland boarded the transport craft and flew to the meadow. The hill were rather impassable because it was surrounded by thick forest. They landed a bit further as to not scared away the creature. Rein took the fruit from his bag and distributed it.

"Huh?" Garland looking at the fruit "what for?"

"For taming them, i saw it in a movie."

"I don't think-"

"Great idea!" said Kincade

"Wait! i have-"

"Relax" Kincade grinned "We got this!"

Garland sighed and stayed behind with Laylah while Rein and Kincade approached the creatures slowly. The deer herd stared at them, they seemed cautious. Rein and Kincade extended their hand and then slowly put the fruit on the ground in front of them. The smallest deer was attracted by the fruits and began approaching them, it sniffed the fruit and took a nibble.

"Hey, it works." Rein rejoiced while slowly approaching it.

Rein was about to pat the deer when he heard a loud howl and saw a really huge deer appeared from the woods. It stomped the ground and began charging at them with it massive spiral horns. Kincade pushed Rein away and wrestled with the huge deer. Rein saw Laylah running towards them; drawing a stun gun from her pocket.

"Wait Laylah! Don't!" Rein waving at her

Garland stopped Laylah from shooting the deer, he then shouted at Kincade to step back.

"What??" Kincade was getting pushed back, "i can't hear you!" the deer became much more violent, it body shone brightly.

Garland shouted "Let me handle it!"

"What? i ca- Woaah!" Kincade was thrown far away by the deer.

It then locked his eyes at Rein and charging at him. Garland quickly stepped in front of Rein, he extended his hand (Rein saw something appeared under his wrist). Rein heard a muffled sound and saw the deer reacting to something before stopping on its track.

"What happen?" Kincade ran towards them "Why it is stopped?"

"I tame it with this." Garland showing them a small device under his wrist.

 "What is that?"

 "this shot a small drone that latched on their brain." said Garland "making them docile."

"You mind control it?"

"What!!" Kincade was shocked "that's messed up!"

"Technically.. uh, yeah.." He said looking at Rein's horrified expression "Don't worry it's temporary, i'll switch it off when we're done."

"Still.. it unsettling." Kincade asked "You won't be using that on the locals, do you?"

"Don't worry, the drone can't control inteligent lifeform." Garland chuckled

Kincade sighed while rubbing his head "So.. shall we bring this guy back?" 

"No." said Garland suddenly

"Huh?" Kincade slack jawed " why bother mind control it then?"

"To save us." Garland waving his hand "Anyway this guy is the alpha, we shouldn't take him." He then pointed at the other deer "that would do." He swiftly  used the same device on the other deer. He motioned at Rein and Kincade "Hurry! while the alpha calmed the herd."

They quickly led the deer to their transport craft and returned back to their ship. Garland pushed a button on his Watch.

A while later, they arrived at their ship. Dianna and Sierra was outside, building their carriage. Dianna was approaching them when they unloaded the deer.

"Wow.. but.. isn't it a bit different from the one at the village?"

"Its wild, that's why it's different." Rein nodded. He then walked to Sierra and asked about her progress.

"Carriage almost done." Sierra waving her hammer. "Leena and Rose are making our merchandise and disguises."

"Okay, i'll going to check on them." Rein asked the other to helped Sierra and Dianna building the carriage (Kincade said he need to prepared dinner).

Rein went to the manufacturing room. He went inside and was surprised to see Leena was in the middle of changing her clothes. Leena eyes widen, she screamed loudly, Rose quickly covered her with a cloth and pushed Rein out of the room.

"Pervert!" said Rose before closing the door

Rein covered his face and slumped on the floor. A few moments later, Fabian and Kincade arrived because they heard a scream. Rein stayed quiet, he then heard the door behind him opened. Rose and Leena walked from the room; Leena's face was bright red.

"whose screaming?" asked Kincade

"Rein just barged in and saw Leena without her clothes." Rose growle

"What!" Kincade dropped his spatula

"Rein, i am dissapointed." Fabian shook his head

"I'm sorry.."

"No, it's okay, it's our fault we didn't locked the door." Leena blushing

"Leena!" Rose yelled

"It's okay.. Rein, you want to see our work right?" Leena gestured at them to entered the room, Rose gave Rein a side eyes before following them inside.

Leena showed them clothes they've been making. The clothes were rather plain, Rein examined his

Kincade wiped his spatula and stored it inside his hand. "What's this? why you only make 3 of this?" he was checking on one of the animal helmet.

"That's for you, Fabian and Garland." said Rose "That one is yours." she pointed at the costume which resembled a bug or something.

"This is really ugly." Kincade donning the helmet. "Why not another animal."

"Because it's the only one with the simplest head, the mouth part can be flipped opened for eating." Leena explained

"Anyway, all of those are their local deities. That one is for Garland." she pointed at the costume resembling a bird. "This is for you, fab." she passed a helmet to fabian

"what is this?" Fabian examined his helmet "a dog?"

"Could be.. they revered 5 deities." Leena showed them a video of the crowds worshiping the 5 statues at middle of the festival area. "The local called them Magu, Amala couldn't find the closest word for it."

Rein saw some of the crowds (especially children) wearing the same costume resembling the deities.

"This butterfly one is Huilon." said Rose, she then pointed at the one beside it which resembled a wingless dragonfly "it is called Qingte"

"This bird is Luqu, and those two-" Leena pointing at the dog and a humanoid turtle "Guorong and Buanwu.".

Rein examined their merchandise. Sierra and the other had made stacks of ornate fabric and pottery. they also  made some accessories such as trinket, bracelet and hair ornament, it all embroided with green stone.

"Where do you get this stone?"

"The drone gathers it from a mountain a bit further from our location, also some alloy and other materials."

"And this fabric?" He picked a clothes for children

"We made it using this flower." Leena showed him a brown pluffy flower

He put down the clothes and saw a large bag sitting at the corner, he opened it. It was filled with stacks of square metal coins.

"What are this?" Rein took one of the coin

"It's their currency." said Leena "they called it Siling."

"This much? this could ruin their economy."

"I did told her that, but.. Erra said no need to worry.. because it will disintegrate after a week."

 "That's even worst!" Rein appalled, he put the coin back inside the bag" hopefully we don't have to use it." He then asked Fabian "Did Amala finished learning their culture?"

"It is almost done, she is currently translating their language."

 "Hmm.. Alright, we can leave tomorrow then." said Rein

"We'll continue making the merchandise." said Rose "We're making candies next."

"Oh crap!" Kincade slapped his head "i forgot i was cooking!" He hurriedly left the room

"I will return to the bridge" Fabian also left

Rein went back outside and noticed the sun had already set, and the gemstone moon was nowhere to be seen, it was really dark. Rein asked Amala to brighten the surrounding with their drones.

"Hey! you scares the birds." Garland protested "Amala, lower the brightness."

"Rein!" Dianna pouted her cheek

"Sorry.." Rein looking around "what bird?"

Garland gesturing at a dozen tiny object hiding behind his feets. Rein walked closer and saw a bunch of birds, they looked like a small yellow ball with rounded eyes.

"They're came when we gave Deedee his food.."

"Huh? Who's deedee?"

Garland pointed at the deer.

"Isn't he cute?" "she smiled "you love it, don't you?" she stroked the deer neck.

"Uh.. that's a really nice name." said Rein "anyway, we will be off to the town tomorrow, let's help Sierra."

"Okay.." Dianna told the deer to be a good boy and stayed there with the bird.

Rein grabbed a wodden plank. He noticed the starry skies and looked, he was wondered if his friend were now looking at the stars just like him. He smiled, someday they will met again and share the story of their adventure.

"Boss, stop grinning while looking at the skies."

 "Oh! sorry.." Rein looked up at the sky once more and murmured "yeah, someday.."
