When I got home, I grabbed a notebook from my bag and ran to my desk, determined to plan out how to approach her and ask some questions, wanting to know things to bring me closer to her, As I brainstormed, one thought kept circling back: I don't even know Her name.
Frustrated I sent a text to my friend Micah, hoping he could help, While I waited for a reply, my mind spun with ideas and doubts, each one sounding more ridiculous than the last.
Finally, Micah replied… only to tell me he didn’t know Her name either. Panic set in, and I couldn’t believe I’d planned so far ahead without even knowing the basics.
The hours slipped away, and it was getting late. I tried to shake off my overthinking and washed up, got into my pajamas, and went to bed. thoughts of Her kept resurfacing, I gave myself a firm slap on the cheeks to reset my mind in forced myself to sleep.
The next morning, I was determined to put my plan into action. As soon as I got to school, I sped through the crowded halls toward class and there she was, my mystery girl.
My heart pounded as I took the seat beside Her. Nervous sweat dripped down my face, and I built up every ounce of courage to finally ask, "What's your name?" Just then,
the teacher entered and boom, "Okay, class! Get ready for today!" cutting me off entirely.
