They finally finished setting up their stall, they then heard a gong sound from a far, signaling the start of the festival. The locals began pouring in to enjoyed the festival.

Their merchandise grabbed the attention of the locals. Soon their stall were fully crowded and some even fought over their stuffs. It seemed their merchandise were unique from the other stall.

"Calm down, we have enough for everyone!" Kincade shouted "Form lines!"

"Sorry Rein.. we might be too enthusiastic when making it."

"At least we don't have to worry about money." whispered Rein. He noticed a girl wearing cloak covering her face, she was interested with one of their hairpin.

"Welcome!" greeted Rein

The girl was startled, but she quickly pay for the hairpin and scurried away.

"Wait!" Fabian tried to stopped her, but she vanished among the crowds

"Eh? is something wront?" Rein confused

"That girl.." murmured Fabian "She is seriously ill."

Rose appalled "Huh?"

"How did you know?" Leena asked

"I did quick examination on her." said Fabian "That girl have dangerously low temperature, and what bothers me is something obstructing the chest area."

Garland rubbed his beak" there's something weird about that girl, my sensor distorted when i saw her. Cade, did you saw her too?"

"Huh what? oh welcome, welcome" he greeted another customer asking the vase price "that will be 3 siling."

Rose looking at Fabian "Can't you do something?"

"I have to thoroughly examined her."

"But we don't know where she's gone to." said Rein "for now, let's focus selling our stuff first.."

In just few hours, they sold almost all their merchandise. Rein informed the crowds that they were closing for the night. The packed their stall and stored everything inside their carriage.

"How about we strolls around?" Leena suggested "We might find that girl."

"Great idea!"

 Garland and Sierra nodded

"Yay!"

"Hmm.. to find her, we should split into 3 teams because only me, Cade and Garland have scanner."

Rein then distributed some of the coins they got from selling their merchandise before going on seperate ways. Rein, Leena and Fabian walked around the Festival, but they couldn't find her. The other apparently enjoying the festival instead; Kincade joining the eating competition along with Rose (she was quickly eleminated) while Laylah nervously watching them; Garland and Dianna were checking variety of local creatures being sold by one of the stall; Sierra at the other stall, observing a blacksmith crafting something.

Rein sighed "let's find something to eat, i'm starving."

"How about that one?" suggested Leena, gestured at a stall selling steamed bread.

Fabian said he wanted to stroll alone. Rein nodded. He and Leena then went to the stall. The stall sold steamed cake not bread. Because there were so many fillings, Rein ordered everything.

"mmm., this one really toothsome." Leena elated

"This one good too." Rein sliced the cake in half and gave it Leena "it tastes like strawberry."

Seeing them enjoying her cake. The owner gave them another portion with extra filling for free. After eating all the cakes and thanked the owner, Rein and Leena went to checked on the hair ornaments stall. Rein asked the price, it was 15 siling for a piece (no wonder theirs sold so fast, they were destroying market price). Leena was trying a flower hair ornament.

Rein saw a star shaped hair ornament and he showed it to Leena, "i think this will look good on you."

Leena looked at the hair ornament and then put it on her hair, it really did suit her.

"it's beautiful.. Uh- I mean the ornament."

Her face turned red, "Thank you.." she smiled. "I'll take this one.." she said to the clerk

She put the hair ornament on her bag, "Where should we go, Rein?"

"How about getting some drink?"

A sudden loud gong startled Rein. The locals there began gathering at the pond, even the merchants left their stall. Curious, Rein and Leena joined the crowds. He spotted Garland, Dianna and Sierra at the other side, while Kincade and the other were approaching them.

"Some kind of event?" asked Kincade

The inner palace gate opened. A young man wearing a spiral horns hat sat on the ornamental chair and being carried by bunch of peoples appeared from the gate. Behind him were 5 old ladies sitting on chairs drapped with iconography of each deities. They were also accompanied by 5 young girls wearing beautiful themed dress. Rein felt bad for those people carrying those chairs (some of the older ladies were on the heavier side)

"That fancy looking clothes, He must be some kind of big shot." Kincade stated "and those ladies, they- hey, why's everything flickering."

"That girl.." said Fabian "I found her.."

"Which one?" Leena looking around

"The one with butterfly dress."

"What with these flicker when i saw her." Kincade asked Fabian

"Garland said the same thing."

"She's so beautiful.." Rose eyes sparkled  "made me want to hugged her."

The crowds bows when the man with spiral hat passed them. Rein motioned at his companion to bow too. They placed the spiral hat man chair in front of the ponds and  his entourage beside him.

The spiral hat man stood from his seat and began of his speech about the start of the new year and preparation for tomorrow sapgom.

"Did something wrong with the translator?" Rein whispered "that sapgom wasn't translated."

"There are- no words- similar- to sapgom." Amala explained though the comm

"I see, thank you, amala"

The spiral hat man, apparently he's the emperor, raised his hands at the skies and began talking to the god of the stars. To praised the god, each of the young girls will take turn performing a dance.

"God huh?" Fabian snided

"Is it like the god and goddess from earth." mentioned Rein

"Cade practiced one of the belief from earth, right?" Lenna stated

"It helped calms my mind." Kincade nodded

First to dance was the girl with the turtle dress. Her dance was rather stiff but still quite good, she recieved some cheers mostly from the guards.  Next was the short girl with Dog dress, she looked really nervous. She start by twirling her body and ended the dance with stretching both her hands toward the Emperor. She received some cheers from the crowds, she stumbled when waving at the them.

"Aw.. she's so cute.."

The next was the girl wearing the bird dress. Her dance was elegant and beautiful, the bells she carried chimes as she waving her hands. She received lot of cheers from the crowds. 

The next was dragonfly girl turn to dance, her dance was pale in comparison to the other girls, although hers was complicated it seemed she lacked training.

"As always, Consort Xuqing.." snided one of the people there

"She's the worst."

"I always wondered why noble lady Xuqing chose her."

The crowds badmouthing her. Rein shook his head, he felt really sorry towards her, even though she was bad at dancing, she didn't deserved to be treated like these. Rein noticed the dragonfly girl had weird expression when staring at the butterfly girl.

"it is the girl turn." said Fabian

The girl went to the center stage, she waved her hands to side and began dancing by twirling her long transparent cloth which glitters under the bask of moonlight. As if joining her, dozen of shiny butterflies appeared and synchronized with her dance.

Everyone was awed with her dance.

She ended her dance by raising her hands to the skies, the butterflies flew and vanished into the skies.  After a brief pause, the crowds loudly cheered for her when she returned to the lady side.

"Consort Huidi!" praised the crowds "you're our future empress!"

"All hail Consort Huidi!!"

The girl smiled and waved at the crowds. The emperor raised his hand and the crowds went silent. He stood up and gave each of the young ladies an ornamental orb object although the one given to the butterfly girl was much more beautiful. He then announced the end of the today festival, and all of them returned back to the palace. The crowds began dispersing and the merchants closing their stall.
