Ever since that guy came in the other day i couldn't help but ponder why i felt such a presence, i couldn't even distinguish if it was good or bad. It's really hard adjusting to this human shell of a body, my senses aren't as sharp as they use to be and it has taken a toll on me physically, not to mention that almost all of my angel markings have faded away. On another note working at the cafe is really relaxing. I still don't do much but i have learned how to make the signature toast on the menu. Its simple really, you get a piece of homemade milk bread, toast it then you drizzle it with honey and on top you put some whipped cream in shape of a cats head. Scarlet made like a million of cat heads and put them in the freezer for quick use, so its really easy for me to make it. Freezing the whipped cream gives it such a nice thick texture, the combination is really delightful! As i worked with Scarlet i got to engage in a lot of conversations, i am usually not a talkative type but she has a way with people, or fallen angels i guess. I got to know a lot about her, like her secret stash of lip gloss she always carries with her in case her dream scenario plays out, and i guy asks to taste her lip gloss. Now i don't get why you'd eat lip gloss since our menu is basically filled with adequate food, but to each their own, ill be the last one to judge. She also told me that she loves horror romance novels, which intrigued me. She told me all about it, how her book boyfriend is trying to suppress his killing urges in hopes that that will help him feel human again, and regain his ability to love. I loved seeing how enthusiastic she was talking to me about her interests. Unfortunately i had no interesting stories to offer, except that my life got spared by the prince of hell for unknown reasons..
