I woke up drained from yesterdays rush hour, as i stood up in my bed and barely opened my eyes i saw that i still have around 30 minutes or so before my alarm goes off. I decided that i would just start my morning routine now since when i wake up its hard for me to fall asleep again, i got dressed up for work and i went to brush my teeth. This time Natalie and Alfred went shopping and bough a minty tooth paste, i have to say that i prefer the strawberry flavored one. I put my hair in a ponytail and went to the main living area to make myself some strawberry tea, Scarlet has shown me how to make a bunch of drinks and deserts in our free time and i have to say that tea has to be my favorite hot drink, there's just something so comforting about it. When i finished drinking my tea it was already 7am, so i decided to make Natalie her morning hot cocoa and Alfred's Turkish coffee. When they walked in to the living room both of them looked like they had a rough night.

"Good morning Adam, looks like someone had a good night's rest"

"Yeah! I even made you and Alfred your morning drinks."

"That was so sweet of you, you shouldn't have!"

Alfred threw himself on the couch, eyes still closed. Natalie sat next to him and tried waking him up but he was already back into the sea of dreams.

"Hey is it alright if Scarlet and you open up? I will give you the keys."

"That's perfectly fine with me, Alfred has been working a lot you should let him rest."

"I know, guess ill go to my studio. Ill see you tonight Adam!"

"Goodbye Natalie!"

Natalie gave me the keys to the store and we waved each other good bye. I decided to clean up around the house for a bit and then open the cafe. When i finished washing my dirty cup i made my way to the cafe. As i went down the stairs Scarlet was coming around the corner.

"Hello Adam!!! Did you sleep well?"

"Hello Scarlet. And i slept comfortably how about you?"

"Safe and sound like a baby, while we are at baby's wheres our big baby boss?"

"As soon as he landed on the couch he went back to sleep, so you and i are opening up!"

"Ooooooo this is so exiting!!! Hopefully some cute guys come in hihihi"

"I sure hope they do!"

As i unlocked the door i could still smell the sweets from yesterday. Scarlet and I barged in and started taking care of the orders for today. Recently someone ask if we do orders for birthday parties and celebrations, at the time we didn't but we proposed the idea to Alfred and he gave us the thumbs up. Ever since then we had a steady flow of orders coming our way, even a 10L order of our homemade cherry juice?!?! Scarlet entrusted me to take care of the birthday order while she works on the cherry juice. But before that we got a batch of new knifes since the old ones didn't fit the theme. Of course we didn't throw them away, we split them up with scarlet for home use. As i was washing away my hand slipped and i cut my palm. My body shivered in response and Scarlet came over to check what had happened.

"Adam are you alright?!"

"Yeah ill be fine. Don't worry about me."

"Let me at least patch that up for you!"

I moved my hand to the front table where the 1st aid kit was, droplets of blood hit the floor. Seeing my bleeding hand made me very lightheaded.

"Don't worry Adam, ill clean that up. I'll patch you up and you go sit at the table, ill make u something to eat."

"You don't have-"

"Shhhhhh, i got this!"

I don't like being a burden to others, i accepted this job to help Alfred and Natalie not to make Scarlet worry so much about a small cut on my palm. If only i had been strong enough, i could of defeated Lucifer and i would be the one protecting others, not the other way around...
