Chapter 14: Under Gods Vow 

Diz stands there in front of the shadows, he looks down at the ground. The dark dirt under his sandals remembering the few memories of Viv he cared to remember. Min grabs his shoulders to knock him back to reality. 

He points to Benji who’s somehow still alive but barely . Diz goes into his pocket taking out the celestial shards from before. He pierces them through his chest. He’s closer and closer to godly hood. He coughs up some blood as he tries to stand confused. Diz bends down asking him what happened. 

Benji remembers when he was pulled down. It felt close to death. The black infinity is tightening around him. He saw a dark black hand reaching for him. 

It questioned him. 

Who are you? Why are you with him? Benji would answer these somewhat vaguely . Benji tried to summon his sword, the light blinding Viven. The light irritated Viven, he started to break his core before he heard Dizs voice soon arising, leaving Benji dying in the shadows. 

All this Benji recalls telling Min and Diz. 

Diz nods as he stands picking up Benji by his toga. 

“ Who was that?” Benji asks, holding the red sun mark across his chest, having almost died.

“ No one that matters to you” Diz responds, adjusting his veil.  They return to Vala which Benji is slowly getting used to the fast movement of getting they’re but still gets motion sick. He stands on the hill feeling ill from the light speed of the celestials. 

Diz is behind the tree thinking of his next moves. Benji sits beside him as Min is off to his world of darkness. Benji glances at Diz a few times, curious on who he is. Why did he save him out of everyone? Couldn’t he have saved his wife? His family? His home? What was Dizs true motive? His curiosity gets too strong as he asks.

“ why?” He says bluntly,

“ why what?” Diz responds

“ Why do all of this? Why am I a part of it?” 

“ Well, for my brother, he was killed under these so-called “ celestials” , the day he died, I realized, I don’t have to follow the higher order. Why do they get to decide what happens in the galaxy? I will kill all celestials who object, and those who have no right to be in their position. They were born with power, they didn’t earn it.” Diz monologues. 

Benji thinks Diz is a hypocrite. 

Although he wouldn’t say that to his face, he didn’t want to be the next victim of this tyrant. 

“ For you, after Min destroyed your home, I decided to take a gamble. I suppose my luck is impeccable, “ he jokes which, Benji doesn’t pick up. 

“ I can’t only rely on Min, he’s his own being, but with you. You Benji , you're a part of me. I saved you, now you owe me. Your position in life has changed, I can’t say for the best. But it has changed, I’m sure you know that as my disciple.” He chuckles darkly.

Min comes back, his cloth almost ripped only showing a slit of his eye, his clothing ruined and bloodied. Diz notices this clearly and asks what had happened.

“ They’re on to you Diz” Min groans as he sits next to Diz trying to heal his wounds. Diz is confused.

“ who?” He asks.

“ These dumb bastards named uh I forgot” Min says removing his cloth revealing his face. A pale blue shade with long wavy blue hair as if the stars themselves were glittering in his hair. Diz groans , 

“ You're useless,” he grumbles. Benji glances at them both now curious how Diz looks under his veil. Min notices Benji staring, 

“ captivating I know” he chuckles 

“ focus on they’re names” Diz snaps

“ er yeah, well the lady had this whole monologue, something about being the right hand of god, the true savior?” Min recalls. 

“ and? What about her name?” Diz beckons 

“ Juda, Juda the Holy “
