A beam of sunlight peaked through the branches of the trees as Sebastian sat for a cup of tea with the empress and her servants drooling over his majestic beauty.
"You look a lot like your father."
The empress praised, breaking the silence between them.
Although hearing it, Sebastian was displeased, as he was already blase with what their conversation would lead, as it always used to.
"I'm afraid you will be just like him."
As he put down his cup in a gradual manner, Sebastian couldn't help but cast a playful smirk on his lips while he gently wiped it with a white handkerchief.
"Is it natural to blame a kid for the parent's mistakes?"
His playful grin left a frown on the empress's face.
"I'm just reminding you! There is nothing wrong with that, right?!"
The change of tone in her voice had caught the servants' attention. Averting their gaze as she kept to barbed abrasive words from her mouth.
"As you already know, apples do fall from the tree."
The empress affirmed, feeling satisfied with her dense statement. Even wears an insulting smile on his face while Sebastian keeps grueling about the things she said, reminding himself that the empress was his aunt to suppress his anger that will surely tick off like a bomb.
"Ha, I don't want to argue; I'm just reminding you as the rightful heir of Rosmound."
Hearing it, his face starts to gloom, leaving the servants to sweat immensely, feeling worried about the empress's safety, especially after disrespecting the Ashbourne family in front of the sword and shield of the empire, acting as if Sebastian was the only child of the Grand Duke.
"What about my sister?"
The empress sneered.
"She's a girl!"
Hearing another insult from her, Sebastian was left bent out of shape, with a cold piercing look in his eyes that could kill; his veins could also be seen popping up in his face, leaving everyone with a hysterical face the moment he abruptly stood up from his seat.
"A woman!"
"My sister is a brave warrior! She is a WOMAN! Not a girl!"
Sebastian then fixed his fancy charcoal-colored suit, sighing as he tried to calm himself.
"If this conversation is over, then I think there is no means for me to stay."
He left the scene where the empress was in a sharp take of breath, left with panic-stricken inside her, paired with uncontrollably trembling hands, biting her nails in dismay with widening eyes. As if she couldn't utter a single word from her mouth after crossing the line in front of the young duke that even the knights and servants in the garden did not dare block his way, let alone dare to stop him, as they were afraid that they would lose their heads if they tried to.
Sebastian then gets the Winchester rifle on Keith's hands stomping towards the hunting ground, a dense part of the palace where he annoyingly starts to pull the trigger, randomly killing the animals in his sight.
*Bang!*
*Bang!*
*Click!-
He stopped as he heard the bushes rustle not so far from him, and as he began to pull the trigger on the rifle, he was left in surprise seeing the priestess pop out of the bush.
"......."
His hair was full of leaves, and seeing his face covered in dirt while holding a white rabbit in his hands, Sebastian suddenly felt the hatred vanish from his heart, chuckling as he offered him his hand.
