Deep in the far reaches of space, societies governed by a single galactic order known as "The Galactic Council" is supreme. This awe-inspiring conglomerate exists with the sole purpose of serving as the conduit for everlasting order, and peace among its diverse planetary members.

But before the establishment of the Galactic Council, in it's place: chaos and conflict reigned supreme. Countless coalitions bled for power, and bitter warfare along with economic sabotage plagued the galaxy like an endless stream of interstellar poison. Within the turmoil, History was indented with the development of a weapon of righteous destruction: the Solar Laser Project. Those behind this new weapon were the brilliant minds of Opanious and Gantun. Two planets that, despite their initial reluctance to form an alliance, pooled their knowledge and resources to create a laser like system capable of decimating opposing military bases with minimal destruction. This covert project relied on a complex guidance network combined with a state of the art reconnaissance apparatus. Once the recon had meticulously mapped out their targets, a colossal machine stationed on secret military installation would unleash a precise and devastating laser strike, marking territory by leaving devastation. However, what was meant to be a safeguard against mutually assured destruction turned into a nightmare when the Solar Laser Project fell victim to a malicious hack. In a baffling display of technological prowess, an unknown infiltrator commandeered the system and retargeted the weapon, combing an entire planet known as Osündo off the map.

The repercussions of this catastrophe shot across the galaxy as every planet realized that this advanced technology was no longer confined to the creators' hands, but now within reach of any enemy. The discovery of the Solar Laser Project's vulnerability forced Gantun and Opanious to offer a ceasefire to their enemies, knowing that the possession of such a weapon had shifted the balance of power dramatically. But that was not all. Right after the weapon was used outside of it's creator's hands, the blueprints had been destroyed internally, meaning that they were clearly copied beforehand, and now the schematics were somewhere in the galaxy, possibly being put to task by an unknown enemy, or even ally. Intriguingly, the origin of this hack traced back to a rogue planet, existing beyond the jurisdiction of the pre-Council era. This planet dispatched spies, who infiltrated the secretive project and nearly every other planet over three decades earlier.

Following the event that destroyed Osündo, years of tumultuous negotiations over ten planets merged to form this unifying power known as the Galactic Council. Through the Council's collective strength, order and authority hammered to every corner of the Galaxy, thus a new era of progress and unity among the stars. As history moved, the Galactic Council's legacy would be etched into the annals of time as a beacon of authority. Its first day, named "Alpha Antara," marked the beginning of a long standing government. External threats and internal conflicts posed challenges at first, but the Council remained steadfast in its commitment to establishing order, and its authority across its planetary members. Science, took its rightful place above all else, as the guiding light for all citizens within the Council.

Their first call to action was hunting down the perpetrators who had stolen the Solar Laser project data. All roads led to the now named Outer Territories, as luck would have it, infiltration was their enemy's specialty, but technological advances were not. These fiends who ultimately helped create the greatest driving force the galaxy has ever seen took nearly a century to build the weapon. Eventually, the Galactic Council found the base of enemy operations on a planet near the infamous Endless Riff. In a swift calculation, the planet was bombarded constantly. Thousands of vessels surrounded the planet, the war had lasted 3 months. The ecosystem of the planet in question contained giant insect like creatures were contained by the inhabitants. These creatures were intelligent beings that felt as threatened as they were by the other inhabitants that raged war against the Council. Many ships picked up a multiplying force. Once realizing what it was. Many ground forces began to pull out as the insects consumed and ravaged all who stayed on the surface.

This show of leadership and decisive action proved that the Galactic Council was a force not to be ignored. Regardless of this new super power, many planets still did not join, instead forming their own coalitions and groups, tensions would seem to rise between them, but ultimately, the Galactic Council proved itself to be the super power of the galaxy as many more than expected began to spontaneously join the ranks of the almighty greatness of the Council, and those who attempted to fight and resist, were crushed beneath the boot.
