Rhythm quickly got on his bike and went to August house ,it was already 8: 30 and he was late by 30 minutes ,

He looked at August's house and it was the most beautiful house in that area , it looked sophisticated and modern from outside

But now he was scared thinking now August will bully him everyday, he was in a dilemma whether to knock or not , But then he finally decided to knock and August opened the door smirking

Rhythm was loss at his words and August pulled him inside the house and caged him

“You're late , “He said

Rhythm tried to look at the other direction, he didn't want August to get angry

"I was tired and slept for a few minutes and I didn't realise it went for an hour"

"You didn't even pick up my calls" , August lifts Rhythm's face and he could see some tear drops on his eyelids

"What , is he crying?" August thought to himself and he immediately left Rhythm

"Since you're late now we'll have to work extra time ", now hurry up

August said and took Rhythm with him and made him sit on the sofa , he could feel Rhythm was still uncomfortable so he went to the kitchen and brought a glass of juice for him

Rhythm looked at the room and he could see beautifully decorated walls with paintings and showpieces everywhere, the furniture was expensive and the floor was made of glass, he looked at the ceiling and it was very beautiful with Colourful lights and lantern

"I'm sorry !", Rhythm finally spoke out and August Held him the glass

" I'm sorry, i should have came before now we're late , I should work hard but here I'm enjoying and sleeping like a Pig ," Rhythm said sobbing

August couldn't see him crying ,he felt hurt when he saw Rhythm cursing himself, and he was angry only he has the right to Say anything to Rhythm

"It's alright,it was your first day at college, you must be tired after a long Day “ , August said and handed Rhythm notes

Rhythm looked at August suspiciously,

August printed notes for him ? He thought to himself

"Actually one of my brother was studying in a music institute, but he got another offer in abroad so he gave me his notes , I hope

August lied to Rhythm, actually it was he who went to the shop and took out Notes for Rhythm so he wouldn't be left behind and he could practice more and work on his project

"You want to give this to me?" Rhythm asked

"Yeah , it would take a lot if time for you to catch up everything and you've to practice too so I did your work Easy and also you got hurt today..... How's your hand now ?"

August said and ruffled Rhythm's hair and Rhythm replied "I'm alright... it's fine now... it's not paining anymore"

August commented "you're a grown up boy but still you're clumsy and small like a capybara "

Hearing this Rhythm pouted

"So now let's work on projects", August said and took out his laptop and continued

"My project is about the evolution in music department, I want to gather about the changes of musical instruments ,dance, genres and trends From ancient time to modern times , and how we can attract young minds to have their attention towards this topic "

Rhythm was impressed by August's way of thinking, and August asked him about his project

"Well, my project is not that if a grand I'm thinking about making project on Music therapy ", Rhythm said shyly

"Music therapy? Can you please elaborate? "August asked

" I want to make a project on how music helps people to recover from their past trauma and depression, well you can see music reaches to the place in our heart where words can reach and Music therapy is works for all age groups, so I'm thinking about making a project on it "

Rhythm replied and August was quite impressed with Rhythm

"He's not only hardworking and talented but he's very kind and thoughtful ," August thought to himself

"Then let's continue but drink this first!, "he pointed to the juice And Rhythm drank it obediently

They began working on projects and August helped Rhythm in catching up with their course, they worked and August noticed Rhythm was able to catch up everything real quick, he has a great understanding of music and instruments he thought to himself, But then

Rhythm looked at his cell phone  and Trembled, he peeped at the clock and it was already 10:15 , his uncle was calling him , August noticed his tension but decided to be quiet , Rhythm picked up his cell phone  

"Uncle , I've many notes and classes to catch up so I didn't know the time

Yeah I'll be there in half an hour"

"No you should sleep , You've to go to school , "Rhythm replied

"No I can go by my own , Yeah I'll not switch off my cell phone , I've already shared you my location "

August went to the kitchen and served food for him and Rhythm,he ordered everything expensive from the restaurant since he didn't know what Rhythm likes

Rhythm's uncle is so caring and protective towards him ,he cried too at that time , Maybe he's the most pampered one at home , I shouldn't bully him more , But....Where are his parents? August thought

August brought food to the dining room and Rhythm was packing his stuffs

"Thanks for your help ,now I've to go "

Rhythm said but August hold his hand and Rhythm raise his eyebrows

"You can't until you have dinner with me "

"No I'll be late , uncle is waiting for me , "Rhythm tried to remove August's Hand but August didn't even move

"Either you're having dinner with me or you're not leaving today" , He declared

Rhythm pouted but August pulled the chair for him and made him sit on the chair

"I don't know your favourite dishes so I order these for you , i hope you like them "

August filled his plate with Rice and chicken gravy with Pork chips

Rhythm looked at August with surprise,this was the same man who was bullying him and ordering him around but now he's so gentle with him, Serving him food and taking care of him

Maybe he has split personality,  Rhythm thought

August shook him from his thoughts and Rhythm looked at him

"What are you looking at ? Eat..... And tell me which one you like ... "

August said and Rhythm nodded ,he looked at the tasty food before him and took a bite of it , As the delicious food melt in his tongue, his lips formed a curve and August knew Rhythm loved it

Rhythm was enjoying every bite of the food,it was really delicious and he thank August

Thank you August! , "I've never eaten something so delicious in my life "

"Oh, come-on you're lying , It's a normal restaurant food" , August said

Rhythm focused on his food and August served him again

"No , no don't, if I eat all these I'll be fat "

Rhythm said with a mouth full of food and August pinched his cheeks

"Well , Do you live with your uncle ? Where are your parents? "August asked

"I live with my uncle and my cousin little brother Steve, Rhythm continued,mother died during my birth and my father abandoned me "

August stopped eating and looked at Rhythm who was busy eating

"What about you ? Do you live here alone ? "

"Yeah, I wanted privacy so my father brought me this , He's usually in the hospital, he rarely visits me and my brother is in his college, My mother too died when I was young, she suffered from a heart disease and couldn't survive "

"I'm sorry ... About it ", Rhythm said

"Uh , No you don't have to be , I miss her sometimes of course  I miss her but Brother and papa has always been my comfort zone ,they took care of me and papa has taken the place of mother so I guess "

Rhythm smiled at August

"Can I ask you something?"

Yeah sure , Rhythm said

" Is your uncle good to you ? I mean did he abuse or - "

"No , no he's really good to me , Rhythm said panicking,” he never beat me , never abused me ,he paid my bills and fees , he sent me tuitions and looked after all my expenses "

" I see " , August continued eating, "then where is your aunt? Doesn't she live with you ? "

"Aunt left us, she considers me as a extra load and burden , one day she had a fight with Uncle telling him to throw me out but then Uncle broke off his ties with her , So she left us including Steve "

Rhythm's eyes got teary and August decided to change the topic

"Tomorrow you can come at the same time and I'll reach you basics and we can practice too,"

August said and Rhythm nodded
