Years later, when he is most vulnerable, a dark elf king discovers him and whisks him away to a dangerous world—Myrkrheim, the afterlife for malevolent fae souls. He can't return to the mortal realm since the Magic Mirror is cracked and King Taerynn’s mana core is critically damaged. The unlikely pair must journey to other cursed tales to restore the Mirror and find the missing mirror shards. Will they make it in time before the Evil Queen finds Winter first, who will stop at nothing to have his beating heart in her hands?
