The dangerous and chaotic swarm is also known by many names. The Swarm of Death, The Black Buzzing Cloud, and The Black Swarm. However, humanity called them The Black Locust, which stuck. The Black Locust is a dangerous alien insectoid race, which devoured everything in their path. Constantly hungry and unstoppable hunger for everything, which made them a threat to the Universe.

The Black Locust came from the Planet, which was given the name Purge for the dead environment and its half-eaten appearance. Purge was only like this because of The Black Locust's unstoppable hunger. Despite The Black locust's hunger and destroying their only planet and home, The Black Locust is a small insect alien race that traveled and swarmed from place to place, gorging and devouring everything they landed upon. However, as they swarmed as a colony, they looked like a black buzzing mist of death to other alien races.

Though The Black Locust didn't want war or cause harm, they became a high-alert threat to the universe, causing most alien races to fear and prepare to demolish them when spotted. Unfortunately, those who spotted them or ran into them were served as dinner. The Black Locust seemed unstoppable.

However, planets that had a warm or extremely hot environment were safe from The Black Locust's hunger, as they didn't like the burning sensation that they felt. Once the Black Locust felt a bit of heat they traveled past and headed to the next spot to feast. However, one of their victims was humanity, as they completely devoured planet Earth, causing the human race to be extinct.
