But he though of a dangerous idea of taking Clancy's camera and using the flash to scare those centipedes away, even though he felt like he would be scalded by his father because of it. So he decides to tell him about his idea. He goes over to his father sitting on the coach watching a comedy show.

"Father! I got an idea, it might be a stupid one." Phil calls.

"Do you remember the flash of Clancy's camera scared those centipedes away."

Fin didn't take him seriously, he knows that Phil want to do something good after what happened yesterday. He changes the channel of the tv showing what is currently going on in their town.

"Phil, the army has it all in control with the centipedes us driving around town with the flash on Clancy's camera wouldn't be enough.... but we could see if it would work." Fin says as he stood up and stretched.

"So lets head to Clancy's Phil."

In the town the army has an hold on the centipedes with strong rope nets. The soldiers fire at them like there's no tomorrow . Some soldiers got sent flying from its back legs. A couple of them were directed to target its eyes and legs to stop it from being able to see or move, giving the soldiers an advantage.

Fin and Phil got to Clancy's but there was no sign of him. Phil was about to rethink his plan he made half an hour earlier. Fin tried to get in contact with him but there was no luck so he tries again and then he finally answers.

"Watcha need Foxy? I'm around Tomsons if your looking for your old cat." Clancy answers.

"Oh, hey so Phil has a plan to deal with those dastardly centipedes around, he thinks that the camera you thrown at us yesterday would do the trick." Fin repiles.

"That camera again? I took to a tech guy down town to upgrade because I found out the lens of it was outdated and the storage size was tiny." Clancy claims.

"Techdudes down town right? I'll say I'm picking it up for you... Okay." Fin says.

Fin tried to get is way across town without bumping into the army attacking the centipedes, he remembers this repair store to be located in the towns center next to a bakery. He could only imagine how hungry he would get after smelling freshly baked bread.

Road around town were clear the streets were nearly empty but some stores were open in case of an emergency. Fin spots something in the window of the large toy store opposite the craft store, it was a large dinosaur action which Steve was wishing to get this Christmas. They park and head to the store but they get interrupted by an call.

"Fin... darling you there, Steve has told me that he has a day off on Friday because of Christmas plays going on. He said he hates doing them because of the amount of sing he has to do." Fin's wife says.

"Daddy, have you found me anything special for me for Christmas?" Steve asks.

"I may have in the toy store down town.... It's a big scary dinosaur... ha ha ha." Fin replies joyfully.

Phil walks over to the toy store to see if its open but sadly it was closed but Fin still had hope after the centipede situation is clear he could pop in and get thing for his kids. Phil crosses is arms and went all glum and grotty.

" Father do you think we would be able to go all festive if we have to struggle with what other realms throw at us. There must be a way to stop his chaos... I not that festive at it time of year not anymore." Phil complains.

"Phil, It will be fine after those centipedes are dealt with we would hopefully go back to our normal lives. We might forget this even happened." Fin says in the most cheerful way possible trying to pull out Phil from the pit of misery.

" I do have a store to show in town it's brand new it might be what mother would like. It's the RainbowBath store next to the post office, remember the statue of a rhino guy with a sword and shield is near there." Phil replies suddenly as his mood changes into a more positive one.

Fin smiles as he notices that Phil's mood changed, he always wanted to see him in a better mood than being miserable all the time, he has been adopted into the family for six years when he first came to them he was very reserved and wanted people leave him alone. Fin still wonders of what happened before he was dropped off in that orphanage. He could only think of bad parenting.

" Ahah... that's the Techdude's we are looking for Phil." Fin gasps.

"I wonder if it's open let me see.... umm yes."

He opens the door and lets Phil in before him. He walks towards the counter and he calls over the repair guy. Phil was looking at the devices displayed in glass protecting them from being stolen. He reads the prices and the models of the phones. The guy at the till was inspecting a broken phone with a terribly broken screen and looking at the repair screen comparing the sizes, then he quickly jumped out of his chair to help Fin.

He was a German Shepard with glasses wearing an ugly Christmas jumper, blue jeans and has a white scarf around his neck. He looks like the  chillest person he ever met but he has some anxious feelings about this interaction.

"Morning... do you need any repairs of any kind?" He asks.

"No... My friend Clancy told me to come here to collect the camera he owns... Has it been finished yet, sir? Fin asks politely, he was quite anxious of asking the guy, because he thinks the guy suspects him of stealing and making a excuse of saying that he's collecting it for a friend.

"Sure... He must be terrified of leaving home today and he did tell me if he doesn't come, he would get a friend to collect it." The guy says.

"Hmm... maybe because my son their Phil has told him that the flash of that camera scares those centipedes away. He believes the upgrades to it would be more effective for scaring them away." Fin says as he waited for the guy to grab Clancy's camera.

"Father on the news feed on my phone it says the army has managed to take one of those centipedes down. Is wonder if there's any point of this." Phil complains.

Fin thanks the guy at the till and leaves with Phil. He stilled carrying the camera all by himself so he stopped and waited for Phil to help out. They both carry the camera to the car struggling with the weight with every step. Suddenly, a Centipede scuttles by them then stood up on its back legs like a bear. Fin's ears twitch he wasn't ready for any of this yet.

They both rush to mount the camera onto the car so Phil could stun it with the flash. It collapsed down from its back legs making Phil think that when it's stunned its an opening for them. He digs through the boot for his baseball bat hopefully that is capable to do any damage towards it. Fin is indecisive between ramming it with their car or use the foldable garden rake.

"Dad! Probably flash the camera when I tell you to when it does that dominance pose." Phil suggests.

"Okay! Mr Centi it's time to bite the dust!"

He readies himself to hit as he inspects it for a weak point but he didn't see one, well not yet. He targets the head with his constant whacking. He nods at Fin for him to ram the centipede with the family car. Fin was violent with his ram it was like one wasn't enough. Phil watches in shock he knew is father was near this violent he never realised how these other realm beings has affected him mentally.

"Father, calm down you might be hurt!" Phil cries.

"Phil, I risking my safety for a load of people.... I know I might be hurt." Fin replies.

He reverses away from the centipede realising how over board he went in the last few days. With is driving and how he dealt with the creatures, sitting all slumped down on his chair watching what Phil is doing to it. He thought that if he took the risk of going all the way to save this realm he wouldn't be able to see the rest of his kids and his wife. Phil pauses looks behind him and notices how low Fin is. He felt horrible after seeing his adoptive father in that state someone who tries to make peoples lives better with his upbeat and whimsical personality.

"Father you okay? something troubling you? He asks.

Fin looks up and gave Phil a slight smile before looking down again. Then steps out his car then takes out the garden rake. He stood in front of Phil to threaten away the creature, it didn't work but it did do damage to one of its larger eyes, it made a loud screech alerting the army from a mile away.

"Men... There's another nearby after he deal with the body of this one we head to that one. I hope no one is hurt." The captain calls out to all his soldiers.

The centipede once again jumps onto its back legs and charged up a deadly attack from his mouth. Fin and Phil look at each other in shock before....

Mist appeared around them near the centipede, after it faded it head had disappeared. They both were curious about how that ended up happening. Phil spots a silhouette from the shadows to him it looks like a badger or a raccoon.

It was a Honey Badger... Fin thinks he saw him before from school. He got a little giddy and he tried to mask it off him. The badger had a scar that went across his cheek to the tip of his nose, his eyes were blue which made him look more intimidating. His hair was blond and styled into a quiff he was around Fin age possibly old.

"Long time no see old friend.... These centipedes have drove me insane. I came all the way here from another realm these creatures have also invaded mine and I was ordered my general to take care of the ones here.... Wait who's this little pipsqueak." He asks.

"I'm Phil and who the hell are you?" Phil rudely responds.

"Um... Phil this is my childhood friend Connor... we knew each other since we were 3!" Fin says.

"So, is Phil a friends son or is he adopted?" Connor asks.

"Phil hates hearing that he adopted, but its true... I'm glad I got him out of a dreadful situation." Fin replies.

Fin walks over to the car the waved his hand to lead them to it. Phil wanted it kill this last centipede because he wanted to prove to himself that he could do it. Connor sat at the back watching the streets as Phil drove he was clearly looking out for the last one. They had no idea if there was more.

Later on, Phil jumps as he spotted another centipede scuttling across the street, it spot them driving by so it chased them away as it was constantly trying to shoot its electric beams out of its mouth. It movement was it chased them really fast but Fin out smarts it by driving through an alley way its to big to go through to get onto another road then searched for a open area to lure it over.

They find an large open area of the local park, Fin parks then honks the horn to call it over. It bursts through the metal wire fencing of the park and headed towards them. Phil grabbed his bat then charged towards the centipede, before it got close to Fin and Cooper he looks back quickly to signal to one of them to use the flash of the camera to stun it so there is an opening he figures out its weak points are its eyes so he targets its eyes with heavy blows then climbed onto its back to do a last blow to the head.

Fin ran over with the garden rake to poke at its legs attempting to make it loose balance and to prevent it from escaping. Cooper watched the two do their thing before he ran over to Phil and handed over is large sword to cut its head or limbs of. Phil decides to do both.

He swung the sword over is hand in a spinning motion trying to cut off each leg on its left side, then targets the rest of the legs to make the centipede in mobile so he could do his actual final blow to its neck cutting its head off.

Fin applauded for Phil, he wasn't expecting a work of art from disembodying a creature from a different realm Phil usually like doing things in his own way such as his own artworks back at college. Phil jumps off the centipede hands back the sword then hugs his father.
