Darius, recognizing the voice as that of the man on the door, felt a surge of apprehension grip him.
In a desperate bid to escape, Darius veered his bike in the opposite direction, revving the engine with renewed urgency. But before he could gain any significant distance, Liam intervened,
Liam (growled) - You can’t run.
With a swift motion, he raised his fist, and from it, dark tendrils snaked out, coiling around Darius and his bike with a vice-like grip. With a fierce swing of his arm, Liam hurled Darius and his bike through the air, sending them crashing to the ground near the houses with a resounding thud.
Liam sprinted toward the crater, his pace unyielding, and effortlessly leaped over a house to confront Darius. Landing with agile grace,
Liam (remarked) - You throw me one, I throw you one. We are equal. Now, can we talk?
Surveying the scene, Liam noticed an unusual phenomenon unfolding above. A swirling pattern formed in the cloud directly over him, and suddenly, a radiant light cascaded from the sky. As the light touched the ground, an intense wind swept through, clearing away everything in its path.
