Gratefulness is a virtue; we lack the most.  

Ignited by the theory, rebellious of all.  

Filling the void; so ever grown,  

Grieved to find THE HAPPINESS unknown.  

Starry nights I like the most.  

Why so blue? Question the most.  

Sunsets are proof; endings are beautiful.  

Then why doesn't sunrise prove startings to be less dutiful?  

Edge of honor, a sword stabbed.  

Brink of a cliff, a mountain stag.  

Quiet because of horror, silence tagged.  

Neither a bluff, reality tapped.  

What's the purpose of this all?  

Don't like rains, yet gloomy all day long.  

What's the motive? Don't know if I'd fall.  

Patience's a virtue, dear? It'll pass; don't worry at all.  

Sadness is an emotion, so poor among all.  

Everyone can afford it; what a pity, doesn't sound naive after all.  

Happiness is class, what even the elite can't buy.  

Why can't I understand the concept, thy?  

If I have a little happiness, I'm rich, though.  

Why am I not surprised? Hunts me the most.  

Happiness that I find in the aroma of tea,  

Richness of it in the pages of a book. These?  

Happiness isn't an emotion; it's an antidote now.  

Need to cure the debility, the venom spread, don't know how.  

What a delight! A sweet flight.  

Darkness to light, only to find darkness embedded, asking for a fight!  

Beyond the fractured light, what lies ahead.  

I'm blinded by its vision, trying to survive.
