THE WAY YOU LURED US INTO A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY IN THE FIRST HALF WAS SO MEAN OMG. I was so happy for Toge to be figuring out his new arm and hanging out with everyone and everything with Yuta and then the second half was like a freight train to the heart T-T.

Also Sato understanding Toge finally being acknowledged! I noticed in chapter ten that she answered Toge’s question before Megumi was able to translate and I was so excited for it to be addressed! I also really loved seeing Toge bonding with the first years a bit because he’s such a good senpai in canon and I always loved seeing his interactions with the younger characters in the show being portrayed in Divergent Fist.

Also is Toge’s nail biting habit back? They definitely look beat up after he buries the rabbit at the end but even before that in the panel where he’s thinking about the first years arguing his thumb looks rough. Poor guy :((
