"It's time I reveal the truth to you, Camilla."
Liora woke up from her sleep, and the rain suddenly calmed, thunder was no more, the sky began to clear out, and the sound remaining merely served as background noise. The words she spoke to you were unknown.
"When you received the fulmine amulet, you saw something deep in your soul. I'm unaware as to what it could've been, but it made the amulet change. If you look again, the amulet is gone."
You quickly pull your shirt up and notice that what Liora pointed out was true. Even though you saw it with your own two eyes not long ago, it is now gone. "What does that... mean?"
"Many moons ago, five divinities came together to bless the region of Altharim. Together they created the sky, the light and dark, human life, our land, and nature. Upon blessing Altharim, the divinities became part of the region by giving up their spiritual forms to create more life."
"Those born as direct descendants of these divinities live as prestigious royalty within the Green Campanella. However, those who were born as a result of the creation are considered powerless, incapable, and dysfunctional. You may believe that classification comes out of nowhere, but it is particularly important with the amulet you have."
"The amulets are christened as the Relics of Creation. Ironically, the selective bias for these relics relies on the candidate being a descendant of the divinities, not of the creation. The crux of the matter lies in the fact that you are not a descendant of a divinity."
You stood in silence, only half understanding the meaning of what Liora spoke to you. Divinities creating Altharim? Royalty? Weird social divides? There were many questions you had, but you let Liora continue before making it a longer explanation than it has to be.
"That means the fulmine amulet should've rejected you. However, not only did it take form for a moment, but it created something that shouldn't have been possible. You developed the Eterna from within you."
"Unfortunately, I have no information on what it's capable of, but since it imbued the fulmine amulet, who you are will be portrayed just outside."
Emotions are a strange concept. One day you're led astray in the deep sea of nothingness, and the next day your feelings conceptualize into the world around you and those who know of you. "I have the power to change the weather?"
"Not exactly; you have the power to control the lightning around us. I've always noticed the rain feels nicer around you, Camilla; it's quite... adorable."
Despite Liora's in-depth explanation of the amulet, you were still heavily confused. You had a power that is unlike anything else in this world, at least according to her.
"What's the point of all this?"
"That's what you need to answer on your own accord, Camilla."
