This is not to say you cannot help bring me to happiness

But that my happiness is a formula with hidden variables and I never passed calculus.

You are the X in the equation, but the equals sign is off playing with π

Y has taken a trip to the moon and Z has been left outside in the snow for a while waiting to be let in.

I've found A and C, but B is nowhere to be found.

Who put A and C without a B there?

All the numbers are imaginary or irrational, and sometimes the variables to my happiness decide they don't want to be an equation but an alphabet instead.

A variable, a part of the equation

But it's not up to X to find what it satisfies
