EPISODE 4: "A New Ally"

INT. ART CLASS – DAY

Rae’s been going to art class to unwind and create something new. She’s always been artistic, and sewing is her escape. One day, she meets someone new: NOVA, a quiet, artistic girl who shares Rae’s love for fashion and art. They bond over their shared interests, and Rae begins to confide in Nova about her struggles with her family and Jamiyah.

RAE (to Nova):
“I feel like I’m always fighting. I just want to make something that’s mine.”

NOVA:
“You will. Just keep going. Don’t let them break you.”

Rae starts to feel like she might finally have found a real friend who understands her. But as the episode progresses, she realizes she might need to push herself even harder to get her dream off the ground.
