INT. RAE’S HOUSE – NIGHT

The tension between Rae and her family comes to a breaking point. Minky and Niki continue to bully her, and Rae finally snaps at them.

RAE (shouting at her sisters):
“You think I’m nothing, but I’m not gonna be the little girl you keep pushing around anymore! Watch me!”

Her mom overhears and pulls Rae aside for a serious conversation. Rae realizes that her mom’s worries are rooted in fear for her future, not just control.

RAE (to her mom):
“I know you’re scared. But I’m not gonna let this world break me. I’m not gonna let them win.”

Her mom looks worried but finally starts to see Rae’s determination.
