A Close Call
The episode begins with tension simmering in the air. Seo-yeon and Seok-ho crouch together inside a cramped wardrobe, their breaths shallow and their bodies pressed close. The senior employee’s footsteps echo in the room as the pair remains frozen, hoping not to be discovered.
In the stifling silence, their eyes meet. The intensity of the moment heightens their awareness of each other’s presence. The proximity forces them to confront the growing emotions between them. Seok-ho’s gaze lingers on Seo-yeon, who looks back with equal vulnerability.
Outside, the voice of the secretary calls out to Seo-yeon from the hallway. The senior employee finally leaves the room, allowing them to slip out of the wardrobe. Flushed and disheveled, they share one last charged glance before hurrying out, their emotions a mix of relief and something unspoken.
Office Tension
The day at the office continues, but Seo-yeon and Seok-ho’s stolen moments grow increasingly charged. Their glances across the room are fleeting but electric. Each exchange holds a depth of emotion they’re both reluctant to fully express.
Despite their best efforts to maintain professionalism, the undercurrent of their feelings is undeniable. Every interaction—a passing brush of hands, a whispered exchange—further ties them together in ways neither can ignore.
The Kidnapping
As the workday ends, Seok-ho insists on driving Seo-yeon home. He escorts her outside the office and tells her to wait while he retrieves the car.
Moments later, a black sedan screeches to a halt beside Seo-yeon. Before she can react, masked men leap out, grabbing her and forcing her into the vehicle. Her muffled screams pierce the air.
Seok-ho pulls out of the parking lot just in time to witness the scene. Without hesitation, he steps on the gas, following the kidnappers at a calculated distance. The pursuit weaves through crowded streets and deserted roads, the tension mounting with every turn. Seok-ho’s knuckles whiten on the steering wheel as the kidnappers attempt to lose him.
Eventually, they succeed, disappearing into a desolate part of the city. Seok-ho’s frustration and fear are evident as he frantically searches for any sign of the car.
Confrontation at the Abandoned Building
After scouring the area, Seok-ho spots the black sedan parked outside an abandoned building. Steeling himself, he approaches cautiously, every step calculated.
Inside, four armed thugs await him. The ambush is swift and brutal, but Seok-ho’s training kicks in. The ensuing fight is fierce, each punch and kick executed with precision. The thugs are relentless, but Seok-ho’s determination fuels him. Despite taking several hits, he overpowers them one by one, leaving them unconscious on the floor.
Bruised and battered, Seok-ho doesn’t waste a second. He rushes deeper into the building, calling out for Seo-yeon.
A Heart-Stopping Moment
In a dimly lit corner, Seok-ho finds Seo-yeon tied to a chair, her wrists bound and her mouth gagged. Her tear-streaked face brightens with relief at the sight of him.
Seok-ho rushes to her side, fumbling to untie the ropes. Just as he reaches her, a heavy blow strikes him from behind. The force sends him crashing to the floor, his vision blurring as he loses consciousness.
Captured and Helpless
Seok-ho awakens, his head pounding. His hands are bound tightly behind his back, and he’s seated several feet away from Seo-yeon, who remains tied up and visibly shaken.
The villains, emboldened by their control, taunt Seo-yeon, their cruel laughter reverberating through the space. Seok-ho struggles against his restraints, desperation in his voice as he pleads, “Let her go! She’s innocent!”
Seo-yeon’s muffled cries add to the heartache of the moment. Their eyes meet across the room, an unspoken exchange of fear and love. Tears stream down her face as she fights against her bindings, but her gaze remains locked on Seok-ho, silently willing him to find a way out.
A Fearful Climax
One of the villains steps forward, a sharp weapon glinting in his hand. He looms over Seo-yeon, raising the blade with sinister intent. Seok-ho’s voice cracks as he screams, his entire being consumed by terror and helplessness.
“Stop! Please, stop!” he begs, his cries echoing in the cold, dark space.
The camera focuses on Seok-ho’s anguished face as the weapon hovers in the air, the scene fraught with suspense. The screen fades to black, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats, desperate to know what happens next.
