As Rayan and Aliza held onto a script of a project that was offered to them both, they didn’t realize this was going to be so close to their hearts and would be their first heartbreak together.
The idea was simple it was obvious Rayan and Aliza would be seen in the public eye a lot what they needed was a reason aside from the fact that they are dating, an excuse to spend time together if you will, working together would mean that they are allowed to hang out together whenever they want, and the PR team could spin it as just as a “professional relationship”.
But the moment they read the script they knew it was more than a story cover up for both of them, they loved the script the minute they were done reading it and they were both excited to work on this project together. It soon became their passion project.
You see for the two of them acting was not just a job it was more than that it was their dream it was everything they ever wanted.
They were excited to announce the project after a few screen test and script readings.
“I love the fact that I am going to get paid for hanging out with my boyfriend” Aliza had said.
Only if she knew that years later, she will be still sitting in her bedroom battling with lack of self confidence in her craft thst she will be thinking if she was good enough wondering did she make a mistake and she would think back to that moment there and ask herself if things would have been different if she would have made a different choice at that time.
As our generation loves the what if questions a lot recently I came across a post about Taylor Swift it was people wondering if she would have become the artist that she is today if someone didn’t buy her a guitar when she was young.
Meanwhile everyone was amused with this situation my heart went out to possibly hundreds of young girls out there who probably had the same dream but nobody to get them a guitar, nobody who believed in them enough to give them a chance or nobody to give them the words of encouragement not even enough for them to try and learn their craft and maybe they had someone but they couldn’t afford a guitar or maybe they did have one but no one was willing to hear them play so they eventually gave up.
With Rayan and Aliza, they both have the opposite problem, Aliza had a stage, but no audience Rayan had an audience but not a stage, no one wanted to give her a chance because she got her stage easily it didn’t matter how good she was or how bad she was they didn’t even want to give her a chance.
People wanted to give Rayan a chance he was talented obviously, but nobody wanted to give him a platform because he was a nobody, he didn’t have the privileges growing up nobody knew him enough to give him a chance.
At the end of the day in between the constant moral debate of talent versus privilege nobody gets a chance, and we are left with a plethora of broken dreams or broken hearts.
Maybe that’s why even to this day I am yet to find a person who has achieved their dreams and is also happy.
When Rayan and Aliza announced their movie together, they were over the moon excited and happy, but they couldn’t say the same thing about the people in their comments.
Chupacabra1980: Why do people keep on casting @AlizaKhan in films still? She is such a bad actress she is an overacting mess I wouldn’t be surprised if she bribed someone to be in this movie
Mishtidoi95: Aliza is so stupid why does she keep picking such stupid actors to work with? Rayan is an absolute nobody she should be working with someone more famous this is probably his first big budget film I am pretty sure he got it due to Aliza’s influence
In between this huge wave of haters there was me who was excited about the movie I thought Rayan and Aliza looked so adorable in the announcement post.
Ironically enough though I was also someone with a dream but I neither had a stage or an audience I didn’t have anybody to get me a guitar or a typewriter or a computer in my case nor could I afford it.
People say dreams are beautiful people say dreams give us purpose, dreams are what drives us, and they shape our lives, but the thing is often at times dreams are embarrassing.
It takes so much in you to even try and achieve your dream that once you are there you are not even sure if you want it anymore or not. You spent years neglecting everything that would consist of having a normal life for your art even the people you love, you let yourself down at least a million times before you make it.
Even if you make it, you will be left with so much guilt for daring to dream even after years of making it.
How can I keep on dreaming knowing fully well that even when I am thirty, I would think about how a twenty-four-year-old me did not deserve to cry all night because she could not afford the Christmas her four-year-old self would have wanted.
No matter what the comments said this wasn’t Rayan’s first high budget film his first high budget film was his film with Camdace. When Rayan was still struggling as an actor Candace was already a household name doing big budget movies for well established production houses. But still she chose to work with Rayan in an industry where most high-profile actors would say I don’t want to work with a nobody Candace was more than happy to work with him and he was forever grateful for that, the movie they did went on to be a massive hit and made a lot of money putting Rayan in the map and it all started with Candace.
Rayan always knew that if he ever had a chance to do what Candance did for him to help someone else, he would do it. Little did he knew that chance was right in front of him as he stood all decked up at a high end wedding and looked around the crowd and spotted none other than the Jiya Khanna.
