You pull the letter out of the book and flip it open. The letters in this one don't even seem to have been shifting before you opened it...
Dear ██████
In the midst of Mother's rush to send us away, I had forgotten the supply of sparkfruit I asked Brahim to bring back. If it wouldn't be too much of a bother, could one of your knights fetch it? Mine don't like me very much, and they say it's a "frivilous pleasure". I don't think that's such a bad thing. There's no point in living life if you don't let yourself enjoy it. If I'm stuck here much longer, I'll certainly have to find a way to loosen them up...
Also, I plan on visiting your estate as soon as I can find a way to get out of here without the Apexor noticing. It should only be a few days. (Ha!)
See you soon,
██████ ██████ of Pagolos

You've wandered the tundra for what feels like an eternity. You don't know where you are, what your name is, or how you arrived in this place. Your only hope for survival is a not-quite-human beast with an affinity for literature. Somewhere in the creature's vast archive, you hope to find the answers to your questions: Why are you here? Where did you come from? Who are you?
