Sfx: Car door opened quickly
Juvia exited the car, escorted by men in black suits and sunglasses.
"Welcome, my child!" said Juvia's mom.
Juvia, who had been holding back her emotions in the car, let it all out.
"MOM, WHY WAS I KIDNAPPED?!" she yelled.
Juvia's mom was taken aback, and Juvia's dad said…
"You weren't kidnapped; we have a plan," explained Juvia's dad.
"What plan? We have to go to a fancy restaurant." Rai yawned while scratching his head. "Besides, why do I have to marry this kid? He’s my subordinate at the office."
Those words stung Juvia. She sighed and left the restaurant. However...
Sfx: Table punched
"I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU GO ON A DATE TOMORROW," Juvia's dad said with a smile while holding back his anger towards the two.
"sigh Alright..." Mr. Rai replied coolly.
Juvia remained frozen, watching her father get angry. Meanwhile, Ribbinna ran to her house to report Juvia's 'kidnapping' to Ribbinna's mom.
Ribbinna's mom replied, "Don't meddle in other people's families! Take care of yourself first!"
"But we have to help Juvia, Mom!" Ribbinna explained.
"Juvia is being set up by her parents." Ribbinna's mom answered.
The next day...
"Ugh, she's late!" Mr. Rai complained.
Finally, Juvia came down from her room and headed for Rai's car.
"YOU'RE LATE!!" Rai shouted.
Juvia remained silent as she got into Mr. Rai's car. She ignored Rai's chatter during the drive to a place Juvia's parents instructed her to go. Upon arriving there, Rai suggested heading into the mall. Since Rai was from an elite background, he didn't understand the lives of commoners. Thus, it was Juvia who had to guide him. Juvia pointed to a photo booth.
"Mr. Rai, let's take a picture together!" Juvia said enthusiastically.
After they finished taking photos, the atmosphere suddenly became awkward.
"How's the photo?" Rai asked while adjusting his glasses.
"Sir, you didn't smile at all," Juvia replied, still looking at the picture.
"This is the last time you call me 'Sir'; from now on, you’ll call me by my first name," Rai said while cornering Juvia against the wall with one hand.
Juvia's cheeks flushed due to the close distance.
Far away behind the wall, Juvia's parents were hiding while wearing sunglasses.
"It seems our plan is working," said Juvia's mom.
"If that's the case, let's go home, dear! I'm hungry!" said Juvia's dad.
"Ugh, Dad, you're acting like a child!" Juvia's mom responded as the two got into the car and drove home.
That night, Rai took Juvia home, and Juvia ran to her room. She removed the photo and placed it in her 'memory' album.
"That was so awkward!" Juvia said to herself.
Juvia quickly took a shower, changed into her pajamas, and slept with the album still open.
Meanwhile, Rai, who received a copy of the photo from Juvia, was still looking at it. He couldn't shake off Juvia's words after the photo.
“Son, you must live to make others happy. If you make others happy, then happiness will come to you on its own.”
Yes, that sentence echoed in Rai's mind as well. His late father spoke it. Rai tried to sleep, but he just couldn’t.
"Is it true that happiness can come by itself?" Rai asked himself.
