and Cleber was goading them on from the side.
"What has the officer brought us here for?" Soon after, Cleber caught up with Wanderer and asked,
"Aren't we supposed to have several days off?"
"Ask the officer yourself," Blazing gave Cleber a disdainful look,
"Trying to trick Fallen into asking for you again? Don't even try that."
Cleber chuckled awkwardly and moved over to Horny Beast's side.
"Captain Anemia," soon they heard the simple-minded Horny Beast asking, "Where are we going?"
"To see your mother." Captain Anemia's lifeless voice replied,
causing the rookies to laugh until tears streamed down their faces.
It took Horny Beast a while to catch on, and then he too started laughing.
Under the officer's verbal tutelage, he had already learned to restrain his irritable temper.
"Completing training is a cause for celebration, and it's a military tradition for the officer to take you out for some fun.
So, you have many options tonight." After the rookies had their fill of laughter.
The aloof Anemia turned to them and said, "First, you can ask to go to a tavern to drink.
Second, you can request to visit a brothel for prostitution; all expenses will be covered by me."
"Tavern?" Fallen clutched his head with both hands.
"Brothel?" Horny Beast's mouth dropped open in surprise.
"Officer," Wanderer raised his hand, "Do we have any other options? I heard we have many choices!"
"Of course," Anemia smiled, "You can also choose to go back and continue training."
"Tavern!" Hearing the third option, all the rookies chose the first one.
The rookies were led into a tavern, where Anemia ordered a large table.
"Officer," Fallen looked at the glass in front of him, feeling his head starting to spin already: "Do we really have to drink?"
"The tradition of the Edelweiss squad is that the captain has the duty to lead the soldiers who have completed their training to revel," Anemia said,
"We will be deploying in a few days, so tonight you can do whatever you want, drink!"
Fallen took a sip and immediately spat the liquid out.
In fact, besides Baham and Cleber, no one in the squad liked the stuff, not even Captain Anemia himself.
"Hahaha—" someone nearby laughed wildly: "So they're still a bunch of chicks who can't handle their liquor!"
Calling them rookies was one thing, but calling them chicks was going too far.
The rookies turned to look, and these men were also soldiers, but they wore red badges on their chests,
marking them as members of the Thunder Legion.
The leader of the Thunder Legion stood up, grabbed a large mug of wine,
downed it in a showy manner, and then burst into unrestrained laughter.
Horny Beast, known for his irritable temperament, had been holding back.
But a small action from the usually well-behaved Fallen escalated the situation beyond control.
The young werewolf stood on his chair,
pulling at his eyelids with his fingers and sticking his tongue out and spitting at the members of the Thunder Legion.
It seemed he was already drunk.
Seeing the situation was taking a turn for the worse.
Horny Beast decided to strike first, but before he could leap onto the table.
Captain Anemia's wine glass flew through the air, spinning and emitting a "whooshing" sound,
eventually stopping on the nose of the Thunder Legion's leading officer.
The unfortunate officer let out a wail, clutching his face and squatting down.
"Fighting in a tavern is also one of the traditions!" After throwing the wine glass,
Captain Anemia, with his arms folded, made such a remark.
"Hahaha, boys, let me get cozy with you!" With the officer's words as a green light,
Horny Beast certainly didn't hold back; he dramatically spread his arms and lunged forward.
A great commotion ensued, with Blazing charging in as the second, and Wanderer, grinning, followed with a bottle of wine in hand.
Cleber, armed with a chair, followed Baham, looking for opportunities to take advantage of the chaos.
Fallen, carrying a copper tray filled with meat soup, ran around the scene, dashing forward to slam it onto any head that came into view.
A squad of patrol guards who had heard the commotion arrived and, upon realizing the identities of the combatants,
stood at the door with amusement, watching the spectacle.
About twenty members of the Thunder Legion, including their officers, were soon lying on the ground, groaning.
The rookies, chuckling, stopped their assault, watching as Fallen alone wielded the copper tray,
bustling around the tavern with resounding "clang! clang!" noises.
Horny Beast had taken down seven men by himself and with great satisfaction,
stood on the Thunder Legion's table, hands on his hips, humming a tune and wiggling his big butt.
"Enough!" Anemia said, leisurely finishing his bowl of meat soup and leaving some silver coins on the table. "Let's go."
The group of rookies then, with composed nonchalance, folded their arms and made their exit.
