The Next Morning...

=Messages Coming 4=

"What the heck?! My phone’s going crazy early in the morning..." Juvia grumbled irritably.

Juvia opens the messages.
"Whoa!! Mr. Rai's been spamming me with messages since 5 AM!"

Rai: If you don’t come downstairs right now to head to the office, I’ll bomb your house with nukes!

Juvia: :v Sir, nukes will destroy this entire neighborhood, sir!

Rai: I don’t care!!

Suddenly, the sound of a helicopter roared above Juvia’s house.

"Whaaat?!" Juvia shouted in panic.

She immediately ran out of her house.

"Alright, sir! I surrender!!" Juvia exclaimed, bowing at Rai’s feet.

"IDIOT!! I’ve told you not to put 'sir' before my name! Start over!" Rai scolded.

"Uh... wow, husband and wife fighting first thing in the morning. I feel like a mosquito here. Just passing through, excuse me, sir, ma’am," Ribbinna said as she walked by.

"YOU DISRESPECTFUL BRAT!! DON’T YOU KNOW MANNERS?!" Rai roared, grabbing Ribbinna’s collar as she was on her way to the editorial office.

Juvia tried to calm Rai down, but her efforts were futile until...

"Meow..."

A stray cat's meow silenced everyone. Rai, who had been furious, now gently petted the stray cat. Juvia had just discovered Rai’s weakness. She picked up the cat, and Rai tried to take it from her. Meanwhile, Ribbinna quietly slipped away and managed to head to the editorial office.

"Sir, at this rate, we’re going to be late," Juvia said.

"Bring the cat to the office, then!" Rai ordered, carrying the stray cat as they headed to work.

Juvia could see that Rai was still trying to maintain his dignity (pride), even though it was obvious he was a cat lover. She watched him cradle the cat as he drove.

"What? Don’t look at me like that! If you’ve got something to say, just say it!" Rai said, focusing on the road.

"Sir—I mean, Rai—are you a cat lover?" Juvia asked.

Suddenly, Rai made an extreme turn with the car. Juvia screamed so loudly that she reflexively clung to Rai’s arm. Realizing what she’d done, she quickly pulled away, fearing he might get mad.

"S-sorry, sir—I mean, Rai..." Juvia stammered, almost in tears.

"We’ve arrived at the office," Rai said coolly.

The office staff greeted Rai and Juvia with a cheerful “Good morning!” Whenever someone asked about the cat, Rai always replied, "It’s Juvia’s cat."

Juvia muttered to herself, "Sir, just admit you’re a cat lover."

Unbeknownst to her, Rai overheard. He called Juvia into his office. Juvia trembled, thinking he was going to scold her. To her surprise...

Rai pulled Juvia into a hug, locked the door, and hid both their faces as they kissed. Juvia was utterly shocked by the unexpected turn of events. What would Rai say next...?
