Read Far from home :: The Hotel

"Okay man we gotta talk about this. 1. I'm glad you trust me enough to tell me. 2. How the fuck did we both end up liking guys I mean raised homophobic and we BOTH end up liking guys in one way or another." After I said that there was an awkward silence. Then we both burst out laughing we laughed so hard James almost stopped breathing and I threw up. Even after that we laughed until we reached a small town. We looked around a bit got some more food. But at the edge of the town, a-a hotel?

"Sweet a Inn how much do ya reckon' it costs for a night?" James didn't think much about it before we walked in. "How much for a night?"

"$15" The guy looked like he hadn't slept in a week his voice was tired his short black hair was super messy he had a dirty old red hoodie on and looked about 16 years old. But none of that mattered as soon as James lifted his head from the pocket in the bag where we kept the money he froze. Immediately I grabbed the $20 note from James' hands and gave it to the guy. He did about the same thing when he saw James.

"Here you go bro 20 bucks you can keep the change we'll be fine." I said quickly .

"Uh um y-yeah um my names, uh, um my names Charlie if you uh n-n-need anything just ask I-I'll be he-here." He was nervous you could tell because his voice was a little louder and he jolted up straight from hunching over. He stumbled with the key and then quickly slid it across the counter. "Here's y-your key r-room 28!" For some reason Charlie and James looked like they were arch enemies staring into each other soul. I was confused so I grabbed James arm and we bolted up the stairs.

"28, 28, 28,...28!" I dragged James in the room he still was barely moving, so I did the first thing that came to mind... I shook him and slapped him a couple times and he snapped out of it.

"WHAT THE HELL ALEX!"

"Oi keep your voice down I'm right here." I said in a sarcastic voice. "Anyway what the fuck was that with you and register guy?" He sat straight up.

"Al, HE WAS SO CUTE!" He flopped on the bed with his palms over his face and he was kicking his legs like a teen girl texting her crush. I'd never seen him like that. He slowly took his hands off his eyes and his face was bright red. "His dark fluffy hair and his hoodie and he was so tall and nice and AGHHHHHH!" My brother, James Thanatos was HEAD OVER HEALS FOR THIS DUDE!

"Man you simp you just met him." James looked me dead in the eyes.

"I must talk to him!"

"Last time you did that you froze and I had to pay for YOU!" I watched the realisation set on his face. "Do you want us to go together so maybe you don't freeze?" He nodded very aggressively at that.
