(The gaming center should be..about 12 minutes away from here.) he thought to himself. "hm? What's that..burning smell.." he whispered to himself. Heading towards the direction. "An alleyway?" He mumbled getting closer.
(Wait children? And they have fireworks in there hands..but why do I smell something stronger..like gasoline? There's no way!! I have to stop these kids now before they do anything stupid.) he thought to himself.
"Hey you kids there! What do you think you're doing with that...?" He asked coming closer to them. "Ah! Who are you?!?" The tall kid asked. "What's it to you?! Why's it any of your business?!" The young boy asked.
"Because it's highly dangerous and as an adult I should be held responsible for whatever mischief you're up too right now..now, hand the gasoline and fireworks over..you don't understand how dangerous it really is." Sora said.
"No way are we giving this too you! It took us hours to steal my dads gasoline!" The tall kid said. "Well then I guess I'll have to just take it off your hands then and send you kids to the police station!" Sora grinned. "W-wait?! Police no— "yeah you don't need to do that!!" The young boy interrupted.
He glanced at the other kid who didn't talk yet. (What's that one's deal?) he thought. "You can't do this! We aren't doing anything wrong!" The young boy shouted. Sora glanced back to the two others.
"Hand..the gasoline and fireworks over." Sora said. "But you'll take us to the cops!" The tall boy said. "I can't get in trouble my dad will kill me!" The young boy yelled out. "Please don't..tell mister" the other kid whispered. (So he can talk it seems.) he thought, glancing towards him.
the taller boy threw liquid onto Sora who was focused on the quieter boy.
"Huh what's this.." he whispered (GASOLINE?!!!!) he thought, as he sniffed himself. "What did you..kids just do?!?? There's no way you just threw this onto me?!!! Tell me you're joking please!!!" He yelled.
"Don't even try to run..we have a knife too! You won't just be burned alive" the young boy said.
"Do it now! Throw the lighter quickly.." the taller boy said. "Please don't..make me do this..Ryu.." the boy whispered. "Ugh give it to me wimpy boy!" The younger kid said, grabbing the lighter. "Get away from me! You don't understand that'll kill me!" He yelled.
Sora ran but also did the boys going after him. He called his mom but no answer so he called again and again. But it went to voicemail each time. "Mom mom please PLEASE HELP ME MOM PLEASE IM SORRY FOR E-EVERYTHING I SWEAR ILL TAKE THINGS SERIOUSLY..IT MIGHT TAKE SOME TIME BUT ILL TRY..PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE!!!" He yelled in the phone.
Sora's breathing became heavier the moment he realized he wasn't making it out of the alleyway.
The taller boy was the quickest so he grabbed the firework and lit it throwing it at Sora. And once they heard his screams was when they ran.
"SOMEONE H—HELP ME PLEASE SOMEONE!!! AUGH!!!! IT BURNS..HELP M-ME!!!!!!!" He yelled. "Mom...please help..m— he tripped on the ground trying to reach for his phone.
"SORA!!! SORA?!? D-DONT DIE, ITS OKAY ITS OKAY I GOT Y-YOU..." Kyuin yelled. Putting the fire out quickly with his jacket slightly burning his own hands. "Ouch!!" He whispered, to himself as he looked at his shaken hands, trying to grab sora's phone.
He grabbed Sora and put him on his back, running towards the street. He turned his head hearing a loud honk. Kyuin's eyes widened. Looking at the huge truck coming towards them faster. Kyuin looked up at the light which was still red.
And before he could turn his head it was already too late the car was too fast for him to even make it towards the other end of the street, once he got hit Sora went farther from him.
Kyuin tried to crawl towards him as he spat out blood. "Sora..I'm so sorry..I tried to..save you.." he coughed up more blood as he moved closer towards him. He looked at his phone which was ringing from a distance. "Sora,.can you hear me?" He asked. Kyuin's eyes shut once he seen Sora not attempting to move.
