In the midst of this joyous chaos, Lyra felt a knot of anxiety tighten in her chest. The initial rush of adrenaline from the fight had faded, leaving behind a disorienting sense of… now what? She’d been so focused on defeating Timekeeper, on breaching the impenetrable Library, that she hadn't considered the aftermath. The Library, freed from Timekeeper’s rigid control, felt different, the very architecture seeming to shift and breathe. Lyra & Kael is lost in the forset.

The fog was so thick that they couldn't find each other.
