(wednesday 2:40 PM)

(Police station)

 "so you guys  were really close?" cheif park asked in a surprise tone.  Kaito  nodded.  "we all were..." he said, with a frown. "Ruben would uhm..take us places with his fancy cars, we'd go to the beach at times..or something sometimes they were meetings mixed in..and sometimes we'd do it because we really liked being around eachother..not like any of them would admit it..but it's true..we're all sad...myomi died." he said, with a shaky tone. 

"I'm sor— "don't..don't...Please.." he mumbled. chief park let him sit in silence for awhile before he began talking. "So Uhm...you said she wasn't the best at times..what did you mean by that?" he asked. "well....she was a good friend just not the best person you would want to date." he said. "you and Kim dated?" he asked, in surprise. 

"No no no...of course not..we were better off as a good pair of friends..me and myomi, but no..I could never see myself with her she was...a different person when she was with her other group of friends..she was so different..it blew my mind sometimes.." he said, frowning recalling the memories. 

"so..how'd you find out about her other side?" chief park asked. "me and myomi were both the class rep's so it's natural for us to be closer then everyone else...so she..wanted to show me her other friends she became close too, some were cool..some...weren't.." he mumbled. 

"what happend?" chief park asked. "....they were..your..cliche jerks, they'd bully in secret. and of course me  being in the council..I told ruben and them, seth was..beyond angry...it took tomiko forever to calm him down— "wait tomiko?" he asked tilting his head. "Uhm..Yeah tomiko..is something wrong?" kaito asked. 

 "It's just that...well I'm figuring out that they're always together..it seems." he said, looking at his notepad. "you don't...seriously think they killed her?" kaito asked, looking panicked. "No no no...please don't mind me...continue please.." chief park said.

 "Uh....anyways, Seth doesn't take bullying lightly he likes when everyone get's along so he kind of ran the school, took his job really seriously, so the weaker kids naturally  depended on Him.." kaito said. "Hm..so what'd he do?" chief park asked.

 "seth talked to the football coach about it..and he got off on a warning since Higa had a big game coming up, they threatened him, if he bullied another kid again he'd be kicked off  the team no matter if it's a big or small game coming up." kaito said. "..I see..and his name is Higa?" chief park asked writing it down. 

"His name is Higa Kenji..he was..dating myomi 2 months into school, but once she found out he got caught bullying she dumped Him .." kaito said biting his tounge. 

"it seems you had a problem with that." chief park said. 

 "of course i did everyone on the council did, Like i said I liked myomi but sometimes she was making things harder for us...she can date whoever she want's yes, but...we couldn't accept her doing those things with them..she was making us look bad.. making seth out to be some two faced...I don't really know what he was thinking at the time..but you can ask tomiko he's always at her house, telling her everything. she's the one who knows him like no other." Kaito said, breathing heavily. 

"Here..drink some water..." chief park said, sliding it over. "thanks...and I'm sorry for losing my temper a bit...it's just thinking it about it..makes me angry..it was a hard time..those 2 months." kaito said. "why didn't you guys throw her out the council?" chief park asked.

 "we couldn't she was the class favorite..the queen of the school so not everyone had a negative opinion..so ruben let it go." kaito said. "and seth?" chief park asked. "...it seems he calmed down when everyone else did. he's not the type to hold things if everyone else is fine with it." kaito said, drinking the water. 

"..Hm..So..could you tell me what happened that day?" he asked, tilting his head looking at kaito's saddened face. "Of course..I can..but I'm not sure if it'll help with the case, but i'll do my best to remember everything.." kaito said. "thank you." chief park said.  "I only remember me and Ruben leaving to go to the copier room." kaito said. 

"Yes, I've heard from Ruben but why were the two of you there? weren't you getting ready for prom?" chief park asked. "...He was giving me the papers to the next event's my memory isn't so good plus I do track aswell..so it'd be hard to remember everything at once." kaito said. "Hm...I see.." chief park mumbled writing it down.

 "then that's when the light's went out..and a few minutes after that we've heard Umi's screams. I was faster then ruben so he was b-behind me. Once i seen Umi and myeong scared..I was ready for whatever was to come..but..I-I..I wasn't..I seen her body on the stairs like that..and I just..hid in the corner..like a c-coward."  he mumbled, clenching on the cup.

 "was there..anything or anyone out of the ordinary..?" "Just the lights..going off...every after school meeting we had, it never turned off..it never happend before..until that day..so it wasn't- it couldn't have been..just a stupid conquencident." he glared, at himself looking at his reflection in the water before he gulped it down.  

Chief park wrote all it down, before glancing at kaito one last time. "Okay..Mr. Jeong you're free to go i'll call you for the next..visit." he said not looking up. "Please find out who killed her." he mumbled leaving. 

He walked out the police station walking to ruben's car. 

"you okay Kaito?" ruben asked, opening the car door. "Yeah..fine." he whispered, shutting it. 

"don't worry Jeong..finding out who killed myomi, I Will I won't sleep until i've figured out this puzzle." chief mumbled, putting his notepad down as he closed his eyes.
