I realised I'd forgotten my backpack so I ran back to the classroom to get it and as I was running I ran into someone. I looked up and saw Max. I blushed and said a quick 'sorry!' and ran off. I made it to class just as Mr, Michaels was closing the door.
"WAIT!" I screamed with the last little bit of hope left in me.
"Oh uh hi Kylea, did you forget your bag again?" He shook his head as if to say 'uh not very good you should try better next time' but he opened the door so I ran in and grabbed my bag.
"See you Sir! I've got to go!" I quickly said as I ran past.
"Wait Kylea!" I turned around confused. "You are quite red in the face are you okay?" I saw I was blushing from running into Max but I brushed it off.
"Oh uh probably all the running." He nodded and I proceeded to run.
I finally stepped outside the school gates and grabbed my skateboard tied up my hair and put on my sticker covered helmet. I skated all the way back to my place full speed cuz I did NOT want anyone else to see me blushing. I arrived and thank god cuz I was exhausted.
Preparing
"Hey KK your friend Traci is coming over later remember! Her mum says half an hour." Oh shit my mum just reminded me. Max was coming over! Ugh I have to clean my room!
I had to reply so of course I said: Uh y yeah I'll be ready you got it mum!' I was so cringy so to block out all my feelings and my cringe-ness I blasted some music on my headphones. You know all the good stuff 'my chemical romance' 'fall out boy' 'Eminem' 'AC/DC' that kinda stuff.
I picked up a growing pile of clothes, Put my drumsticks on the electric kit, threw out all my empty food containers and I even put away my knee, elbow and wrist pads! I hung up my helmet on the door, made my bed and put my skateboard at the end. My room was clean.
I was ready!
