As options dwindled, both of you could only really follow what the letter had offered. Maybe it would set forward the beginning of your next venture. "Camilla, this bridge reshaped memories that I didn't think existed before."
It was a little later into the day, and you had your eyes set on this place. It took very little to convince Liora to bring you there. But there were some small challenges to get through before entering the Green Campanella.
For starters, you'd have to cross the bridge leading to Green Campanella. After crossing, you'll have to obtain a tourism pass, which then finally will allow you to cross through the final checkpoint.
"When I was younger, my mother told me about this very bridge."
"She would tell me that if I tossed a coin onto the sea beneath, any memory I wanted to preserve would return the next time I crossed."
"The memory I wanted to preserve."
"Was with me in that moment."
"She never took me to this bridge herself. And now that I cross it with you, I remember everything like it happened yesterday."
Liora started to look away from you, and her voice seemed to get weaker right before she stopped speaking. You simply continued to walk right behind her while appreciating the nature covering every inch of the bridge.
"Everything?"
"..."
The bridge still had some length to go, but despite that, there was silence. Silence that remained even as strangers crossed alongside you, it was as if the bridge had dug back memories that shouldn't have come back to light.
"..."
After an hour or so of walking in pure silence, the end of the bridge was marked by a gate. Past the gate, there was a path leading to a massive structure. Liora stared at you intently. "The Green Campanella checkpoint is right beyond this gate."
The bridge didn't seem to be a challenge at all; it was simply a long walk. But that was nothing for the two of you. Finally, to cross the checkpoint you'd now have to obtain a tourism pass, as neither of you were citizens of Green Campanella.
"However, before we move ahead, I'd like to request something from you, Camilla."
"Regardless of what your eyes perceive in Green Campanella. Please, never forget me."
