Ethan
I could tell the reason that Mark and Josh had come back round even if my dad was too nieve to see it.

I know for a fact that Mark and Josh are not as close as they are pretending to be. Meaning that they have to be here for a different reason, other than just to have a friendly chat with me and Josh about last week's events.

I played along with their scheming, sitting beside the blushing omega.

I hadn't quite figured out where Josh was involved in his step dad's planning. The only thing that was blatantly obvious was that he was trying to get us to be close.

I made eye contact with Josh as I handed him the plate of biscuits off of the table. My mother would kill me if she thought I was being rude to a guest.

He looked as if he was on the verge of tears. His eyes had gone slightly red along with the tip of his nose, the smallers pheromones had also started leaking. I'm guessing this had something to do with my comment earlier.

The scent gave me flash backs to the rut I only just got rid of.

Although I may have joked with my dad about it, it was the worst I have ever experienced. Even when my girlfriend turned up at the door of my room to help me it wouldn't die down.

The omega took the plate out of my hand with an awkward smile.

Josh was about to say something when my father spoke up from his conversation with Mark drowning out the omegas words.

"Ethan?" He looked at me for a moment. It was obvious to me that he had asked a question that I definitely hadn't heard. I gave him a puzzled look without saying anything making it clear that I didn't hear the question.

"Honestly can you believe he is taking over my company?" My father said sarcastically to Mark who laughed almost too hard. "Mark asked how you have been getting on since your rut ended?"

It wasent a question I felt very comfortable answering seeing as there is an omega in the room and I wasn't very well acquainted with Mark but I was playing along.

"Since the rut ended not too bad, just some pain in my lower back" I forced a laugh. Making it obvious to the room why my back hurt to put an end to the topic before it went too far.

My dad gave me a stern look from across the table. I could basically read his mind. He wanted me to be more sincere with the guests.

There was a brief silence before a new topic of conversation picked up.

"So we should probably discuss what you came here for." Father stated looking right at Mark in a serious manner. Mark only nodded in return before both of them turned to face me and Josh.

My father spoke first.

"Josh." He said in a calming voice. " Your heat started at a very unexpected time." I could see Mark nodding once more but still not saying a word. I had a feeling I knew where this conversation was about to go. "I have a feeling it has something to do with my son here." Oh how I hate being correct.

The smaller could no longer completely avoid my father's eyes as he stared him down looking slightly scared.

"I believe that could be the case" Josh said not elaborating any on his statement. His voice was shaking and his hands were fidgeting with the hem of his dress top.

I wanted to roll my eyes and walk out of the room.

How could my father be serious right now. What difference did it make if I did set him off into heat? I did my part to help. I gave up my bedroom so he wouldn't feel uncomfortable.

I did feel slightly bad for the poor omega though.

This must be so embarrassing for him to return to the house he went into heat in.

Though I didn't see the mess of my bedroom after he was gone as I had the maids clean it, I could still smell some of his scent that had stuck to the curtains and carpet.

It took me ages to explain to my girlfriend what had happened, but she did forgive me after I got her the channel bag she always wanted.

I just looked blankly at my dad until he gave me a questioning nod.

"Dad, what difference would that make?" I tried to speak in a soft tone but I was getting annoyed now. I was done playing along. "I have a girlfriend, and he's only 17." I looked down at Josh as I stood from the couch. He looked heart broken but there is nothing I can do. It's out of my hands.

"That reminds me I'm meeting her soon." I spoke confidential as I walked to the door of the room ready to leave.

"Bye." I spoke calmly to Josh. This must be hard on him. I didn't say bye to my dad or Mark, and left before either of them had the chance to say anything.

Josh a young omega who's father left when he was a newborn, his mother re-married a rich man when Josh was barly a year old. Josh's step-father was not much of a fan of him, infact treating him quite badly compared to his own children. Josh only hoped that one day he could have a mate of his own to rely on and love him.
