Adrian stood on the riverbank, his eyes tracing the ripples on the water as Lila’s words still lingered in his mind. “I really enjoy being with you, Adrian. One evening, as they sat on the couch watching the sunset through the window, Lila turned to him with a smile. “I have something important to tell you,” she said quietly.

Adrian’s heart skipped a beat as he felt a sense of anticipation build up inside him.

“I’ve been thinking about our future,” Lila said softly. “And I wanted to ask you... will you marry me?”
