As Luna sits in the RV, still in a panic after the recent events, Sunny tosses her a book.
"Hey, partner, that's a Monsterpedia! I'd recommend reading it!"

Luna lets out a sigh as she catches the book and flips it open. "I guess I can read this to take my mind off everything."

On our large world known as Earth, it is a vast and wondrous planet—rich, bountiful, and truly beautiful. However, in this world, there exist monsters, cryptids, and all manner of creatures far removed from humanity—more terrifying than even the largest apex predators in the animal kingdom.

The Sanctum organization ranks all recorded creatures on an alphabetical rating system that ranges from:

F: The lowest rating.

D: The second lowest rating.

C: A mid-range creature.

B: An above-average creature.

A: An extremely difficult fight.

S: Life-threatening.

Z: Apocalyptic threat.

The Hopeless

Location: Found all over the world

Height: Varies, usually between six and seven feet tall

Description:
The Hopeless are former humans who sold their souls to a powerful demon in exchange for more power. These soulless beings lose all sense of humanity, their will entirely subjugated to their master's commands. They exist solely to serve their demon overlord and carry out their master's desires.

The Tomb Flower

Plant Color: Resembles the color of sand

Plant Body: The body typically resembles that of a corpse flower, but the flower itself takes the form of a skull, while the leaves are shaped like tombstones

Intelligence: Usually unintelligent, though there have been rare outliers

Description:

A violent and highly aggressive monster, the Tomb Flower- are hostile toward all forms of life and thrive in hot climates, requiring substantial heat to survive. They attack using the whip-like vines on their body, which deliver stinging, devastating strikes. The main reason they are sought after is due to the fact that Tomb Flowers are not limited to imbedding themselves into dead humans.


The Alaskan Devil

Description:
The Alaskan Devil is a legendary monster that resembles a cross between a bear and a devil. It roams the wilderness of Alaska, striking fear into anyone who dares cross its path. This terrifying beast has proven to be nearly indestructible, with countless hunters having attempted to slay it, only to fail.

The creature is rumored to possess a unique ability to absorb the damage it takes, making it incredibly difficult to harm. It moves at extreme speeds, and the most alarming aspect is its alleged immortality. Some claim the monster has existed long before the formation of the United States.

Sanctum has placed a bounty of 500 million USD on this fearsome creature.

Nessie (Aka The Loch Ness Monster)

Location: United States

Height: 15 feet

Eye Color: Yellow

Skin Color: Green and Pale Green

Description:
Nessie, or the Loch Ness Monster, is a creature shrouded in mystery. Most hunters are advised to avoid killing it, as so few of its kind exist. Sanctum regards Nessie not as a monster but as an animal of great importance.

Hunters encountering Nessie are instructed to capture it and report to a Sanctum representative. Sanctum ensures the creature is relocated to a sanctuary where it can live safely, away from harm.

The Flesh Terror

Difficulty Ranking: S+++ (Would be Z if not for its weakness)

Location: Formerly Saudi Arabia (Current Location Unknown)

Height: Varies, ranging from 10 to 100 feet

Eye Color: Black

Skin Color: Red and Purple

Description:
The Flesh Terror is a horrific monster that narrowly avoids being classified as a world-ending threat. This monstrosity would have been ranked Z if not for its singular vulnerability: highly concentrated acid, followed by extreme levels of fire.

Only one Flesh Terror is known to exist, and it was supposedly killed deep in the deserts of Saudi Arabia. However, its current status remains unconfirmed.

The Flesh Terror consumes the flesh of living and dead creatures, growing stronger and larger with each meal. It resembles a grotesque mound of pulsating, blob-like flesh, moving by sliding across the ground like a slug. It emits pheromones to attract new prey and is highly resistant to magic, for reasons not fully understood.

If spotted, the Flesh Terror is to be eliminated immediately. The last recorded encounter with the creature resulted in a devastating death toll of 20,000 to 30,000.

After reading about the Flesh Terror, Luna closes the book with a shudder. "Okay, after reading about that thing, I'm taking a break and going back to studying those spells Jeffrey gave me."

She lets out a weary sigh. "I just know I'm going to dream about some of these monsters... and I am not looking forward to it!"
