Ren, Darrel, Don, Nadia and Ruth team up again to take out another small group of rock turtles. Leaving the wall they surround a group of four rock turtles, Ruth quickly draws the attention of two rock turtles while Darrel, Don and Nadia to take care of one.

Ren looks at the lone rock turtle turning its attention to him, after reaserching he found that these rock turtle's muscle energy sits around level 30 to 40. Drawing his dagger prepares to dodge the turtles attacks, the turtle launches with a suprising speed.

Ren attempts to dodge but he is way to slow, he brings up his dagger to block the attack. In a blur the turtle's attack lands leaving a large wound on Ren's arm but also lodging Ren's dagger into its face. Ren's body is filled with pain as he sees "+400 Blood energy EXP.", "+15 muscle energy EXP." and "Blood dagger is now at teir 6."

Ren grits his teeth as he grips his dagger and pushing it in deeper before pulling it out leaving a deep wound on the turtles face before Ren backs away as quickly he can, Not long after his dagger grows warm as he sees "Blood dagger is now at teir 7."

Almost instantly as Ren backs away small rocks are lifted up around him and quickly sent flying into Ren's body flooding his body in bruises, cuts and slowly blood. Every bruise on his body follows with "+5 blood energy EXP." and every cut and scrape on his body follows with "+10 blood energy EXP." After a good 2 minutes Ren sees "Blood energy has leveled up to level 8."

Ren's body screamed with pain as he falls to the ground as the barrage of rocks slowed down, he quickly faints.

Ren wakes up in a hospital bed with only a cast on his arm, all the other injures have restored fully.

Ren then sees "Improved natural healing has leveled up to level 5." and "+ 3000 Blood energy EXP."

The doctor comes into his room explains to Ren what happened, "After you fainted Nadia healed all of your surface wounds but she couldnt heal the broken bone in your arm, although its coming along nicely and the assistance to some high level healers youll be out of the cast today and put in a sling. You wont need the sling after tomorrow."

He was discharged from the hospital and his dad took him home.

Ren falls asleep arriving home.

Ren quickly sees a bright light with a farmiliar blurry figure.

"We need you to grow stronger quicker. Your dagger is already strong enough now we need to temper your body. With your arm being broken and your body healing we will bestow a unique skill to you. Reinforcement, a skill that increases the strength of your skin, blood, muscles and bones every time your greatly injured. We will also grant you 10000EXP into your muscle energy and blood energy, unfortunatly this is the most we can help you with. good luck."

Ren wakes up, as he stands he feels his body being much stronger, all of his muscles feel stronger and harder. He looks through his stats.

Further away a large rock turtle climbs out of the ground, its body nearly three times as large as the regular ones and its shell shining with a metalic luster. 

Large rocks are swiftly flung towards them, luckily Don quickly pulls up a rock wall to block hits. Ren springs into action, pulling his dagger he quickly runs towards the rock turtle. Its slow speed allowing Ren to jab his dagger into its side, with the sound of grinding metal and scratching rock his dagger barely made it into the shell, Ren sees "Blood dagger has increased teir, to teir 8." Shock fills Ren as he backs away quickly dodging an attack. With further focus Ren grips his dagger and calls out "Dad! fire wind bullets at the head! Don be prepared to create rock walls to defend me and yourselves! Nadia heal me if i get injured! Ruth be prepared to take over if i fall!" With that the team follows suit Darrel suprised but quickly followed orders seeing an unbelivable burst of strength from his son. 

Ren seeing the bullets of wind strike against the turtles head, he rushes to its side quickly landing another strike this time getting deeper than before but still not enough to deal major damage although he grins as his blade is absorbing huge amaounts of Blood Energy. With a third strike he sees "Blood dagger has increased in teir, to teir 9." He quickly backs away as a rock wall forms infront of him taking a blow from the turtle's tail, the wall shatters and crumbles Ren taking a light blow to the chest knocking him to the ground and pushing him back about 5 metres. His body faintly glows as Nadia heals him.

Ren gets back up and goes again for the turtle's shell, this time his strike leaves a web of cracks along the surface, Ren then aims for the weak parts quickly landing a strike against one of its legs leaving a deep gash on its leg as blood pours out. As the turtle faulters his body's luster dims as its muscles double in size and quickly it lashes out at Ren leaving Ren with a broken arm and a deep slash along his chest and stomach.

Ren faints with pain after seeing "+550 Blood Energy EXP." and "+900 muscle energy EXP."

Ruth quickly takes over as Nadia rescues Ren taking him to the hospital immediatly. 

Ren again wakes up the next day in the hospital nearly fully healed. he sees Ruth, Nadia, Don and Darrel there, seeing him awake Ruth exclaims "How did you burst forward with strength? like it wasn't at our level but in a day you increased in strength so much. Oh and you knew it was super strong but after defeating it we noticed the shell was all cracked but non of our attacks could breach the shell enough to make cracks along it, how did you do that?"

Ren sits there stunned, "Umm i just pushed myself beyond my limit to protect everyone. My dagger seams to be blunt but super strong." He responds with trying to avoid the question. Nadia pitches in, "With the talent you displayed when you joined and now we belive you should take the spoils of that turtle. We got a soul core and a few Blood Herbs." She sais as she hands him a box, inside was a bunch of red coloured herbs and a sphear with an earie glow to it. Ren smiles and thanks everyone, after everyone left he sees "Quest Completed." and "Your spiritual energy has leveled up to level 10."

After the notices disappear he sees "Pick a skill catagory; Muscle energy, Spiritual energy, Blood energy, elemental and Utility. A skill will be picked at random after selecting." Ren selects utility, after he sees "Utility skill randomly selecting." after a second he sees "Skill Enchanting has been acquired." 

Suddenly a flood of information fills his brain about enchanting items, deciding to test it out he gets out his dagger and focuses on his spirit and the dagger, a few seconds later a screen appears "Do you want to enchant the Blood Dagger? Yes or No" he selects yes "How much spirit do you want to use?" He enters 100 as thats all he has at the moment. the dagger starts to glow as another screen appears "Select enchantments wanted." Ren scrolls through the options.

- Toxin Blade 1 (Adds a minor poison to all attacks.)
- Fire Edge (Stops wounds from the weapon to be healed by all methods for 2 hours)
- Wind Edge (Applies a knockback effect to all attacks)
- Earth edge (Makes the weapon indestructable, and increases the tier by 1)
- Water Edge (Applies a 10% lifesteal effect to all attacks)

Ren thinks about it and selects Improved strength 1, Toxin Blade 1 and Earth edge. After selecting them the dagger glows brightly before fading, not looking any diffrent. he pulls up his stats and looks at his equipment, seeing that his blood dagger's strength tier is 11, he smiles as he puts his dagger away. He then looks at the blood herbs and the information acquired about them, "So they can be eaten to increase Blood energy. They also grow inside strong monsters with high blood energy level." he murmers to himself.

He quickly decides to eat them, after swallowing the whole bunch his body heats up rapidly causing pain to fill his body, but he sees "+500 Blood energy EXP." Every second, after two minutes the pain stops and his Blood energy stops growing, after he sees "Blood energy has leveled up to level 10." Ren smiles at the growth he has made today.
