They were racing against the time, determined to make it before the school bell had a chance to rat them out. Wildfire High slowly came into view as they burst through the entrance, creating a resounding echo. Their classroom door came into view, and they could almost taste victory it was within their grasp. Right as their foot was about to set into the classroom, the bell suddenly rang. Starfania cursed to herself about her misfortune. Both Starfania and Aeron enter the classroom bracing themselves for the coming war cry. They could hear their classmate snickering at their misfortune while Professor Shadow's eye bore into them as he demanded, " So what is your excuse this time Ms. Night and Mr. Johnson. "

Starfania lowered her head down and apologized, saying " We're sorry. It won't happen again."

He scoffed in disbelief before launching into a stern reprimand about their tardiness. Most of his focus was on Starfania though while Aeron shifted uncomfortably in his spot. Without skipping a beat, he shifted his focus to the rest of the class.

" You see class just because Ms. Night is royalty she thinks that everything is around her. However in this school, we do not tolerate it every one of you will be treated fairly in this school, " he declared. The entire class nodded in unison, even Becka made a sly comment about how everyone else showed up on time. While Starfania is always the last one to show up.

Aeron's eyes burned at their comment as he moved forward to say something about their comments. He was quickly stopped by Starfania shaking her head, trying her best not to escalate the situation further. This caused Professor Shadow to raise their eyebrows suspiciously. As he spoke in his deep voice " Do you have something you wish to say, Mr. Johnson."

" No sir," Aeron said while glaring dagger at him but still standing tall and proud. This made Starfania smile a bit at her best friend standing up for her however the Professor spoke up again. " Why are you smiling Ms. Night you do realize you're in serious trouble."

She immediately hid her smile and looked into his dark gray eyes as she mumbled a few words. He let out another remark, " Oh, please do speak up Ms. Night no one can hear you. "

" I said- " Starfania was about to say what was truly on her mind when another voice pierced the atmosphere. " It was my fault that they arrived late. "
