Survivor’s camp

As Darius reaches the survivors camp. He sees that the camp is a power plant colony with security guards on the entry gate. The security guard aims at Darius.

Security guard - who are you?

Darius - A survivor.

Security guard - you alone?

Darius - yeah.

Security guard - why are you all covered in blood?

Darius - lost an old friend.

Security guard - Do those beasts tailed you?

Darius - no.

 Security guards allow Darius to enter the camp.

1st June 2160

Darius spends his time in between the survivors. He helps the camp’s people in day to day work and in free time he teaches the camp survival methods he learned from the Oldman and in 3 months Darius became an integral and important part of the camp. But one question keeps striking his mind — why there is no headhunter attack in this place even though he encountered numerous on his way.

At the time Darius entered the camp there was no electricity, and the only way for the electricity in the camp was a nearby hydro power plant which was shut down by the split as its operators were either dead or moved to the dome city. The people of the camp didn't try to start it because there were not enough men to operate it. This is an issue that was entrusted to a team including Darius to solve.

Later that week, Darius gets in the powerplant with the team, he enters the powerstation and moves to its basement. In the basement he sees a hole which goes to a tunnel leading to one side of an Intersected river with low water, He gets to the other side of the river and sees a cave entrance, after walking into the cave for almost 15 mins, He recognises it as it was the same cave-temple from where he ran when the gas leak happens in field class orientation. Darius enters the temple and finds that vessel again, he remembers the vessel and he holds the vessel in his hand and sees it, Thinking, why did he hold it that time, he left it there and leaves.

 Darius joins the rest of the team.

Miko - hey monkey boy, where have you been? I have been lookin for you. Let's  BLAH BLAH BLAH. 

Darius (thinks) - This nerdy girl, she is a pain in the ass, but I Think that's kinda normal, I was once a nerd myself, having this fact known, she still irritates me.

Miko - BLAH BLAH BLAH and that's how we will do it.

Darius - do you know the gravity of this situation a bit. We have an objective to fulfill and not time to waste around.

Miko - aah, brr…, I never thought this would be boring as hell, I thought those beasties would be here.

Darius - you better not wish for them to come.

Miko - Hey, ever thought why in your 9 months this camp is never attacked by those beasts.

Darius - Yeah, the question strikes my mind as well, but I have no idea as to why.

Miko - I haven't come to a solid conclusion as well.

Team Leader - OK GUYS IT'S TIME TO HEAD BACK.

Miko - Hey, Let's find out someday.

Darius - Yeah... sure.

Miko - Oh! you are curious as well. That is very interesting.

Darius - what is interesting about it.

Miko - Guess we will find out.

Discussion room, Survivor’s Camp

Nile (Team leader) - We should gather more people as there are more survivors outside the camp. 

Darius thinks of that child and father he saw at the store.

Nile - we should bring them here as there is vegetation and plenty of food and space for many of them to reside, Besides it all we need people to operate the powerplant and other necessary place for our survival, but the question arises, who will be taking them here?

 no one comes forward to do so. Darius comes forward and says

Darius - I'll do the job and I just know where to start.

Everybody agrees on Darius' statement as he himself came alone surviving to the camp, and he has been telling people about surviving skills, he is the most suitable one. All the members allow Darius to go on this mission.

15th June 2160

 After 2 weeks, Darius attaches a sidecar to his bike and moves to find the other survivor with all the supplies he needs to make the journey. Darius reaches that broken glass shop where the child sees him and smiles, Darius smiles back,

Ardonia City

Father - what? you came again?

Darius - no need to worry Mr., I came to take you guys to the survivors camp.

Father (in shock) - Why?

Darius - because you told me about the place, now we have no time, we need to go now, pack all your important stuff.

Father - right. 

As the father moves inside to pack his belongings, Darius looks at the child with a smile.

Darius - And what is your name?

Boy - Adin

Darius - It's Darius, Nice to meet you Adin.

As Both father and son get on his bike, Darius kicks the engine to move toward the survivors camp.

Father - Why are you doing this, even though I beat you that day.

Darius - Because Your boy has this sparkle in his eyes that I don't want to see fading away, he needs a better place to live.

Father (Looking toward Darius with hope) - Thank you.

On their way, they encounter a horde of Headhunters following their tail from the shop. Darius was Driving the Bike and the headhunters were chasing them, Jumping on them, trying to devour them. Father cuts his belongings, and all of it falls on the horde, Giving them time to think up a plan to evade, however, it's no good the horde is still on their tail.

Darius (asks the Father) -  can you shoot?

Father - I can’t.

Darius - Can you drive the bike?

Father - yeah. And what are you gonna do? 

Darius revs up the bike, they both interchange their position, now Darius is in the sidecar and the Father is driving. Darius pulls out his gun and aims.

Father - You know how to use a gun? from where does a 17 year old learn it?

Darius - A very professional man, and he didn't just teach me this but other amazing stuff as well.

A headhunter jumps toward Darius’ sidecar and swings his arms to attack Darius but Darius doges.

Darius - Drive faster.

Father - It's the fastest I can go on this load.

Darius thinks.

Darius - I have a plan.

Father - Tell me.

Darius - there is this thing I want to use now, when I use it you must run the bike as fast as you can and move in the same direction until you reach the destination..........(thinks) But i don't know if it will work or not, should i use it.

Father - You’re thinking it out loud, try, It might work. It's better than nothing.

Darius - First tell me your name, maybe i'll not be seeing you again.

Father (shocked) - What is your plan, kid?

Darius - Just tell me.

Father - It's Justin.

Darius - Nice to meet you Justin, (looks at the boy) We will meet again Adin.

Darius release the clamp connecting the sidecar with bike, Releasing it on its own, Darius takes out the knife from his pocket and jumps on the horde

Darius - I wish you are right oldman or i'll be so fucking dead.

Darius stabs himself with the knife. Justin runs the bike at full speed. Adin sees a bright light.

Adin - Dad what’s that light?

Justin - I am driving, can't see, can't tell.

Darius plummeted into the horde, passing through the cascading light as he transformed mid-fall. The impact threw a section of the horde away like ragdolls. As the dust and smoke began to settle, Darius’s other form emerged, a feral and relentless beast, attacking every headhunter within reach with merciless efficiency.

Meanwhile, Darius’s original self lay unconscious, submerged in a dream-like state. In this dark, ethereal void, he struggled to gain control. He saw nothing but impenetrable darkness, trying in vain to navigate through it. Flashes of the ongoing battle penetrated his mind, snippets of chaos and violence that he felt as much as he saw. Each brutal blow, each desperate cry echoed within him, a haunting reflection of the mayhem his other self unleashed.

Darius's body moved with a savage grace, an unstoppable force of destruction. But within the depths of his mind, he was a prisoner, desperately trying to wake, to regain control, but finding only fleeting glimpses of the horror he was a part of.

Darius - It's real.

He tries to control his dream. From Darkness Darius opens his eyes and sees the horde in front of him.

Meanwhile, Justin is running the bike as fast as he can.

Adin - Faster Dad! They are gonna catch us.

Justin fully throttles the bike.

Adin - They are coming, they are coming

As one of the headhunters lunged toward Adin, claws extended and teeth bared, a powerful hand grabbed it by the leg, yanking it backward. Darius, eyes burning with fury, slammed a punch into the creature’s chest, the force of the blow shattering its ribcage and killing it instantly.

Before Adin could even process what had happened, another headhunter sunk its teeth into Darius’s neck, tearing at his flesh. With a roar of pain and rage, Darius seized the headhunter by its hair, lifting it effortlessly. He hurled the creature into a nearby tree with such force that the tree shuddered and cracked on impact.

Adin, running, his eyes wide with a mix of awe and terror. He watched as Darius single-handedly took on the onslaught, his movements a blur of lethal precision. Each enemy that came at him was swiftly and brutally dispatched, leaving a trail of broken bodies in his wake.

Justin - Adin what's happening, what’s with all that noise.

Adin Doesn't reply, as he was watching the duel between Darius and the horde.

Gate, Survivor’s camp

Justin, As he breaks from the horde, reaches the survivors camp and looks at the gate gate. He quickly got off the Bike. The guards spot Justin.

Security guard - isn’t it the bike Nile gave to Darius.

Justin - Open the gate. I have a kid with me.

Nile - He is a survivor, opens the gate.

Gate opens and Justin rushes to a man with an arm. 

Justin - the Horde is coming this way, Hurry we should do something.

Man sees the bike and points the gun at Justin,

 Nile - It seems that you had taken Darius' bike, where is he?

Justin - He sacrificed his life to make a break for us.

Nile (shock) - HE DIDN'T MAKE IT? 

Justin - NO I heard some noises it seemed like he was fighting all of the horde on his own.

Man - he is not some bolt head, he will never do such stuff.

Justin - I am telling you what I heard.

Adin - He is telling the truth, I saw it, a lightning and a beast fighting the horde.

Nile - what?...............Mikhail, put our guest in prison until he tells the truth.

Mikhail and some other men take Justin to the prison, and Adin is watching all this.

Justin (in the prison cell) - please believe me, we have to do something, they are coming.

Mikhail - for your information, those animals don't come in this area.

Justin - why, how?

Mikail - I have no explanation.

After an hour, the Gateman sees Darius approaching the camp, Darius sees his bike fallen on the ground.

Security guard - Is It Darius?

Darius - Hey Reyes (Guard) why is my bike abandoned like this.

Reyes - Open the gate, Darius is back.

Darius gets in and lays down on the ground

Darius - Man i am exhausted, Let me catch my breath.........hooo...Hey, Did some father-son duo come on my bike. l send those ones.

Reyes - Yeah, Nile put the father in the prison cell

Darius - what? why?

Nile - we thought he killed you.

Darius - what?

Justin was released from the prison and met Darius.

Darius - sorry for the inconvenience.

Justin - OH! It's fine. Where is Adin?

Nile - he is with the other kids of the camp, playing.

They all go to see Adin and they see that Adin is just telling the other kid the fight between the horde and that beast.

Justin - I wanna ask how exactly did you survived out of that horde

Nile - Yeah, he said you fought the horde all on your own, care to explain?

Justin - Because I heard noises.

Darius - Oh I exploded a bomb in the horde but I was in the blast radius, so i got unconscious and when I woke up all the headhunters were dead already, so I don't know exactly what happened.

Nile - You know how to throw a bomb?

Justin - he also knows how to operate a gun.

Nile - since when did you become a weapon specialist?

Darius - Didn't I tell you Nile, I lived with a veteran soldier.

Justin - Adin was also saying something about a beast fighting the horde.

Darius - A beast, I don't know what he saw, Maybe he's just making things up.

Miko eavesdropped on the conversation.

Miko - Or maybe there was a beast.

Justin - who is she?

Nile - Miko.

Darius - A nerd

Miko - an enthusiast, By the way we should not neglect the possibility of a beast fighting with them.

Nile - If there is a beast not on their side, we should also not neglect the possibility of him being Dangerous for us, if he is a bit similar to the other beast, there is a possibility that he will attack us even though those beasts don't come here.

Darius - well, I think I should eat something first.

Nile - Right.
