Apocalypse: I, the Top Assassin, Turned into a Loli

Chapter 11: Is It Too Forward to Get Close So Suddenly?

Chapter 11: Is It Too Forward to Get Close So Suddenly?

Jan 20, 2025

[You killed a regular zombie, earned 20 points.]
[Ding! Regular task: Kill 50 zombies 50/50 completed!]
[Reward granted: Extra points *1000, low-level T-virus immunity capsule (3 hours) *1.]
[You killed a regular zombie, earned 20 points.]
.....

The system notifications echoed continuously in Sasha's mind. Finally, the last zombie fell.

The area was littered with the bodies of zombies, all the result of Sasha's efforts.

There were more than 50 zombies; she hadn't been keeping count.

She casually opened her stats panel to check:
[Points: 2735]
In her inventory, there was also the newly granted reward: [Low-level T-virus immunity capsule (3 hours) *1].

This wave had yielded a small harvest.

Sasha felt a slight tremor in her hands from the continued exertion, accompanied by the shortness of breath brought on by heavy physical exertion. Her chest gently rose and fell.

She sighed inwardly: If another wave of zombies like this came, she might have to run.

She wasn't satisfied. She had tried her best to conserve stamina and deliver lethal strikes, but there were simply too many zombies.

Even though her body had been enhanced to level 6, it was still far inferior to her physical abilities in her past life.

Sasha estimated that her physical ability in her previous life might have been at least level 10.

Was there a way to gain attribute points like in the beginner's task?

Her physical strength needed to be further enhanced.

The dagger and axe she had been using were starting to dull and chip from constant use. They needed sharpening with a whetstone.

Sasha glanced at the zombies gathering in the distance, probably drawn by the noise of the battle.

Having completed the task, Sasha put away her weapons and quickly retraced her steps.

...

Shen Yiyue was following Sasha's training plan, stretching to relax her muscles.

The morning training had been tough, but Sasha had arranged everything in detail. Every set and rest interval had been carefully tailored to Shen Yiyue's physical condition.

So, though tired, Shen Yiyue felt thoroughly exercised.

Suddenly, a bloodstained little girl easily climbed over the wall and entered.

Her originally white, delicate face now looked even more pale.

It seemed that a lot of energy had been expended.

Her once-clean and dry beautiful dress was now once again stained with dark red blood.

The dagger and axe she carried also showed clear battle marks.

Shen Yiyue was startled, seeing Sasha, who seemed to have just fought, and quickly asked with concern:
"Xiao Yu, are you okay? Did you get hurt? Did you encounter a lot of zombies?"

Sasha casually sat on the ground, since her dress was already dirty.
She took out a wet wipe to clean the blood on her face, revealing a confident and sweet smile:
"I'm fine, Yuejie, just killed a few zombies."

Shen Yiyue froze for a moment. Upon hearing the "sister" address, she understood that Sasha was in "roleplay" mode.

Yet, she couldn't help but feel like she had truly assumed the role of an older sister.

Looking at Sasha, who was probably only a year or two younger than herself, but always wearing a cold expression as she fought, Shen Yiyue couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy.
She wondered what kind of experience had made this little girl turn into who she was today.
Before, she had hidden it so well.

Shen Yiyue probably never imagined that inside this little girl’s delicate body was the soul of a top-tier assassin.

Sasha had no idea what Shen Yiyue was thinking.

After resting, she walked straight into the inner room to clean the stains on her clothes.

At lunch, the two of them just grabbed some snacks from the supermarket to eat.

The supermarket didn’t have a fresh section, so there were no vegetables or meat, and thus no way to cook a meal.
There were plenty of seasonings, though.

After the training, Shen Yiyue opened a bottle of iced cola and started munching on a bag of barbecue-flavored chips, enjoying herself immensely.

After finishing the chips, she shamelessly licked her fingers, looking like a happy homebody.

Sasha bit into a pineapple bun, which was almost as big as her face.
Beside her, there was a carton of strawberry milk.
This little girl seemed particularly fond of strawberry milk, and Sasha had started to like it too.
The sweet and slightly sour taste of the strawberry milk made Sasha unconsciously smile in satisfaction.

Shen Yiyue, glancing out of the corner of her eye, thought that Sasha looked so cute at that moment.

However, Sasha’s mind was occupied with thoughts:
If they just ate snacks like this, with the intensity of their training, Shen Yiyue’s nutrition might fall behind.

Sasha could control her stamina through attribute points.
But she wondered if eating such things for an extended period would actually cause her attribute points to decrease.

She felt they still needed to find some fresh ingredients.
If they could find high-protein meats like chicken breasts, that would be even better. Of course, vegetables were also essential.

If others in the apocalypse heard her thoughts, they'd think Sasha was too extravagant.
In such a situation, they should be grateful for any food at all!

In the afternoon, in the small backyard,
Shen Yiyue found herself knocked to the ground once again.

Sweat had soaked through her sports tank top, revealing her youthful, graceful curves, radiating a delicate and youthful beauty.

She lay sprawled on the ground, her thighs exposed from her shorts, pale and smooth.
Her face was flushed from the intense exercise, and she was gasping for air.

If she were still in school, many boys would probably be casting glances at her.

Sasha stood in front of her, not urging her to get up.
In the afternoon's practical training, Shen Yiyue hadn’t managed to land a single hit on Sasha, which was only to be expected.

Sasha was explaining how to effectively strike vital points, while demonstrating by playfully hitting Shen Yiyue.
Of course, she wasn't being too harsh.

Shen Yiyue felt as though she had already died countless times.
She thought about it and realized she was no different from the zombies Sasha had toyed with in the warehouse yesterday.

Thinking about this, Shen Yiyue felt a little dejected.

Seeing that Shen Yiyue had reached her limit and had already trained enough in the morning, Sasha switched to continuing her explanation verbally.

Shen Yiyue, listening to the pure and lovely little girl in front of her explaining when to "kick the crotch" and "poke the eyes,"
couldn’t help but feel an intense sense of incongruity!

But this was essential knowledge for survival, so she didn’t dare to complain.
She wiped her sweat and continued listening attentively.

In the evening, after dinner,
Shen Yiyue finished her shower and collapsed onto the couch, exhausted.
She felt even more tired than after a whole day of physical education classes.

Sasha brought over a stool to prop up her feet, holding the book The Outsider from yesterday and lazily reading in the living room.

Shen Yiyue glanced at the silver-haired little girl, who was reading intently.
She really wanted to go over and see what the book was about, wondering why Sasha read it every night.
But she hesitated: Would it be too forward to suddenly get close?

Even though Sasha had beaten her up all afternoon and her bottom still hurt.

While Shen Yiyue was thinking about this, Sasha suddenly looked up.

Their eyes met.
